This hotel has a good location, on the Gothic Neighborhood, close to the metro and the touristic bus, right on the middle of the touristic center.
An average hotel, with no wi-fi at the room, but with a good service!
It's rooms were good and clean, with all necessary items for a good stay.

I was a bit nervous, based on mixed reviews on TA -- but this hotel was fine for what I needed, just a weekend stay in BCN.

As all other reviews say, this hotel is a great location in the center of it all. And compared with other hotels in this area the price is reasonable (for what you get it seems expensive, but not compared with other hotels in the area). I had a quiet room in the back, which I asked for when reserving on line. I felt safe (female traveling alone). Yes the decor of the room is old. Yes the bed was quite hard (I used an extra blanket to soften my sleep). My bathroom was recently updated and had good water pressure in the shower. I did not eat breakfast there so can't comment on the food. Paying for Wifi is ridiculous, as other reviewers have stated already. Reception desk courteous enough for me.

Although location is great I strongly recommend you don't choose Rialto. rooms are small and poor looking with small inconvenient beds, less than basic bathroom and bad smell al over the place. Price in the days of GSMA conference was very high. In short: miserable experience!

I was apprehensive at staying here based on the Trip Advisor reviews, but i must say that the hotel exceeded my expectations. From the ease of check in (and very nice young woman who managed to score me a 4th floor balcony room) to luggage storage (secure and clean area) to the easy-to-spot location on Calle Feran (easily accessible and within close proximity to all the old city sites and the beach), I would heartily recommend this hotel. Breakfast was so-so, but there was plenty of variety and the full-of-atmosphere stone-walled breakfast room more than made up for that. Note also the very comfy bed!

The location of this hotel is fantastic as it's literally on the street of Barcelona, so for us was perfect location. The hotel itself lacks facilities though not a problem If You are only here for a weekend as we were. The service staff were very noisy when cleaning rooms and the sound of beds moving etc was very loud, so much so that it woke you up on a morning! Reception were very helpful and pointed out where we needed to go for trips etc and they provided tickets when required. All in all we loved Barcelona the hotel was a great location but the hotel itself was basic and noisy.

great location, frinedly stuff, clean room, good value for money. the breakfast is fine, close to every place, more than we expected from 3 stars hotel, the most important thing is the location, the hotel is just in the heart of barcelona.

Right next to "La Rambla", "Barri Gòtic" and "Ciutat Vella" the location of this hotel is more than excellent. You can really feel you are in the heart of Barcelona.
The rooms are good as well as the bathroom. Some rooms are better than others of course (my room had two balconies for instance, while my friends's room had only a tiny tiny window) but I guess this can happen in any hotels.

There are a few downsides...
- No free Wi-fi (I think the great majority of hotels and hostels have it...). They charge 2 EUR per hour to use Wi-fi (unbelievable....).
- No breakfast included (They charge an extra 15 EUR for a buffet breakfast!!)
- The price is too high for what they have to offer.

These "downsides" are more or less stated in the websites where you can book the hotel, though...
