The staff at the hotel is really friendly, its close to the Metro station and not to far ride to all attractions, the rooms are clean, really good night sleep, would recommend.

A great hotel, especially for the price! Located in a quiet, upscale district of Barcelona with easy access to Metro/local trains (efficient 10-15min transport to the city center) and walking distance to amazing Parc del Turo del Putxet and Parc Guell. While Gaudi's Parc Guell is a must see, the adjacent Parc del Turo provides quiet (i.e. nearly tourist free) shaded views of the city. Pick up a few items at one of the nearby market and you have the makings of an ideal picnic!

The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming, one of the few places during our tour of Spain where they immediately offered a map and inquired if we needed any directions/recommendations.

The jet tubs in every room were very much appreciated after a day of walking the city!

Positives: friendly, very helpful staff; rooms quiet, clean, well updated; great location in quiet/safe neighborhood; proximity to transport/parks; easy wi-fi access; jet-tubs in each room; a great value!
Negatives: smaller rooms/bathrooms; our broken mini-bar was never repaired during our 5-night stay (would have been nice to have access to cool beverages)

We would definitely stay hear again on our next visit to Barcelona. If you don't mind a 10-15min ride into the city center it is worth certainly worth it for the quality of this hotel/neighborhood.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 9 month old daughter. Room 501 has a lovely balcony/terrace with table and chairs! The room was big enough to fit in the travel cot provided by the hotel comfortably with space to still move around..it has to be said the cot we were provided had a rip in the side of it which we plugged with a shirt-im sure a replacement cot could have been provided if we were concerned that our daughter might get her head caught in the unplugged hole. air con was great due to the heat although if your a light sleeper you may find yourself being woken up by it during the night unless you fully switch it off.
There are a few local shops near the hotel if you want fresh bread/pastries, fruit etc although I would say walk a little further to find other bakeries as the one closer to hotel isn't all that good!
Metro is right around corner which is great.
Regarding room and bathroom..nothing to complain about unless you are taller than 5'10 due to the bath being a tad small and shower quite low. Also i would say again if your a light sleeper the hotel at the time we stayed was a tad noisy-could hear lift chime from our room, people talking and feet moving but it quietened down at around 10pm. Also no tea/coffee/kettle so if travelling with babies this may be a problem however I made up my daughters milk using milk powder and bottled water which was fine!
We didn't have breakfast as it was cheaper to go to the famous food Market la boquirea and have fresh fruit salad, smoothies and croissants for 1.50€ or less!

The hotel is nice, location is okay . We stayed here for 5 days and visited Barcelona. The breakfast in this hotel is good, but in the 5 days that we stayed it never changed. Rooms are average, but good enough. The rooms have tile floors so sometimes it's a bit noisy in the hotel. You can hear people moving chairs and hear people walk. We had a room on the front side of the hotel but didn't hear much noise from the street. The hotel offers different pillows and that is a nice gesture. Getting to Placa Catalunya is very easy. We bought a 5 days card for 25 euro's, a bargain because you can travel by train, bus or metro.
