The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly. Good breakfast in the morning. The location is ok. It's within walking distance to a couple subway stops that can get you to anywhere in the city. There is a store about 20 meters down the street that sells snacks and beverages. Not a lot to do in the area in which the hotel is in. One problem we did find was that the subway stops running early considering most people don't go out until later in the night. This became a problem because we would have to return to the hotel earlier than we wanted because we relied on the subway to get to the restaurants and bars. The room was nice and had a mini-fridge. Overall, we were pleased with the price we paid and the quality we received.

This was our second visit to this hotel, we didn't plan to stop here again but again it came out as one of the best value hotels we could find online.

When we arrvied we were alarmed to see major (and very noisy) roadworks taking place on the street directly outside the hotel. The hotels website did not mention this, neither did lastminute.com who we booked with. Luckily we were allocated a room at the back of the hotel and couldn't hear anything. If you plan to stop over the next few weeks I would bear this in mind and make sure you check with the hotel to ensure you do not get a street facing room. They started work at about 9.30am, so there was some disturbance to our breakfast.

The toilet in my parents room, would not stop flushing - we reported this to reception and they moved them to another room straight away

Otherwise very clean rooms, AC, good bathrooms, hairdryer, nice and quiet. Good breakfast buffet. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

5 mins walk to El Putext Metro stop - 10 mins train ride to the centre of Barcelona

28 euros in a taxi from the airport

Stayed here in April whilst four of us across two rooms celebrated a birthday. None of us could complain about the hotel, although it was little warm in the evenings. The quiet location was lovely, especially as it was conviently located close to the metro (Palau Reial). More foten than not we grabbed breakfast from outside the metro station and there was a corner shop just down from the main entrance with very cheap food. Hotel rooms were lovely so no complaints.

I thought this hotel was good value - maybe because of the slightly less central location - but you could still get to where you wanted to go as there was a metro stop very close by. The hotel staff were approachable. The room suffered with a bad case of ants but the cleaner sorted that out for us without complaint. Had a good working TV. Breakfasts - beware! They are pricey and aren't included but tasted good.

We had a terrace room on the fifth floor, table and two chairs we had drinks there every night. Rooftops but also the hillsides are inview with the chapel and amusement park lit at night. Room was small but quiet, clean and comfortable although bath was a little short on counter space. Mini bar in a wood cabinet ran very hot limiting the cooling in the minibar. Be sure to ask for the optional pillows at no charge. Free access to a computer with internet in the lobby. Staff was very helpful and knowledgable. Pass up the breakfast, there are other alternatives around the corner at much more reasonable prices. We found the 17 bus the easiest way to get down to Plaza Catalonia, but the Metro works also.

Not the best good location close to my work shame. Be careful of the spa baths run with hot water first not clean. Don't have any of the last four rooms on the top floor balcony etc might seem like a good idea but the boilers are in the roof space overhead so take some ear plugs if you want to sleep in those rooms. Also take an Iron and an Ironing board and find somewhere else to eat breakfast I didn't even bother and it was free. Be careful how you approach the staff they like to argue with you and cause unnecessary fuss so best not to bother them. If you are there for any lenght of time take some entertainment only english TV is CNN and BBC news so pretty newsed out after an hour or learn German you are ok with German 5 channels of course! Other than that it was great everything you could ask for except rooms need a refurb.

We stayed in this Hotel for four nights in Feb and would recommend it as a very good option for the budget traveller, be they business or pleasure. The location is some what away from the City centre and many of the main areas of activity, but the situation of a nearby Metro stop insured we were never more than a ten minute ride to the heart of everything.

The hotel is a budget Hotel, so for all those who like their creature comforts while travelling, this may not be for you. If, however, you are looking for a basic, clean and comfortable, lower to mid range Hotel, then this is ideal. Firstly, it was clean; with the rooms tended to every day. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Patricia at reception gave us a no nonsense local insight into where to go and what best to see. Breakfast was an extra €10 per day per person but was more than adequate in its continental buffet style. Most importantly, we found the location to be safe and very quiet with no late night/early morning noise, perhaps due to its off the main thoroughfare location.

A nice touch from the Hotel was the follow-up email a day after we left asking had we enjoyed our stay;something I have never experienced from any Hotel, be they budget or delux. I suppose the true testiment to any hotel is whether or not one would stay there again and for us, we would without any hesitation. We couldn't fault the place and feel very comfortable recommending it to others based on our experience.
