Barcelona Holiday

After arriving at 2pm to be told our room was not ready even though check in was 2pm. Reception staff were not that friendly and not very informative we were given out room key at 2.45pm and that was it, we were not given any information about the hotel and what services they offered and as we had booked breakfast in with our room we were not even told what time breakfast was. The room was clean bathroom was very basic and would have been handy to have a fridge in room to keep bottled water cold. This all explains the 3 *** rating. Ideal for a 1 night stop over but not for any longer.

Dear Rachel B,

On behalf of all the staff, we would like to thank you for choosing us for your stay in Barcelona. We regret to see that your room wasn’t ready when you arrived to the hotel and that our staff wasn’t friendly to you during the check in.

Our main aim is to provide the best customer service to each and every of our clients, although our staff is normally very well rated by our guests, we are concerned by the events that you’re describing and will discuss it internally in order to avoid this situations in the future. Normally, during the check in we explain to our customers where to find the breakfast room and we give some maps and information about the city. The key card holder that you receive has also a Fold-out map showing relevant information for our guests, such as information about the hotel and the services that we provide.

We would like to inform you too that we are working on the possibility to install the fridge in more rooms, as now we only have it in our Room 509 and Junior Suites.

We sincerly hope that you can give us a second chance and trust us again in your next visit to Barcelona

Wonderful accommodating staff

As always, the staff was great. This time in addition to using the WIFI upon early arrival, they sent me to 2 eu (money refunds) storage lockers at the back of the hotel. The room was clean and well maintained. The balcony doors obliterate all street noise.

Room tip: get on the VIP plan after first visit

Thank you very much for your comments; we are delighted with the kind words towards our staff!

We work very hard to make our guests feel comfortable and welcomed in Hotel Arc AL Rambla. Some of the services that our guests like the most are our Free Wi-Fi and the lockers, where you can storage your luggage in case of an early arrival or after the check out.

Whenever you are coming back to Barcelona, we would love to host you again!

Very central

This hotel is everything you could ask for in a hotel in the centre of it all, the location is superb, right on la rambla, we had a room at the back and couldn't hear any noise at all, beds were comfortable after a long day exploring. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, very good!

Room tip: rooms at the back don't have a view but there is no noise from la rambla

As you highlight, our hotel is very central, we are located right in La Rambla, in the heart of Barcelona, what makes it great to visit the city by foot. The center of Barcelona is a very lively area; you can find restaurants for every taste, bars, terraces and shops.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your room and that the noise wasn’t a problem at all. Despite being located in a very lively area, all our rooms have reinforced windows to keep the street noise away.

Great little hotel

This hotel, after its central location on las ramblas, would definitely be highlighted by the comfortable amenities. Bathroom was a good size and clean. The balcony that we had was quiet and perfect for a late night glass of wine but it had a view of the back alley. That view, although not as panoramic as the las ramblas side, was quiet and comfortable for our one night stay. The lockers were useful for when we checked out but wanted to stay in Barcelona until late. I would stay here again.

EXCELLENT PROPERTY & SUPERB LOCATION

The hotel is located on the famous La Rambla Street.... helpful & curtious staff ... Big, clean & beautiful rooms.. The street has some amazing resturants... absolute paradise for food lovers... Also the streets are full of street artists from around the world...
