I have just spent a week nat this fabulous 3 star hotel. The EuroPark has a 3 star rating but it would blast most 4 STAR HOTELS CLEAN OUT OF THE WATER. It is in a great location about 800 metres from The Passieg de Gracia ( Goudi's houses ) and about the same distance in the other direction to his iconic cathedral. the roms in the hotel are very tastefully decorated with very good quality furnishings. The breakfasts were supurb, loads of choice and the staff are more than helpful without being in your face. I did a lot of research on the hotels in this area before I choose this hotel, I have to say " what a choice "

Room Tip: We had a room which was overlooking there so called courtyard, not a room with a view as such, but i...

My girlfriend/now Fiancee and I stayed here this past weekend, this hotel ticked all the right boxes!

Service - The chap who welcomed us on the 8th June was very helpful and spoke excellent English. Told what was when, why, how and what. As was the guy who was on the Sunday Night, who sorted out our wake up call and taxi booking.

Room - The room was absolutely fantastic. Air conditioning, smoking, a very large bed which was very confortable (which was why we only just made it for breakfast each morning), bathroom spot on with fully functional hairdyer. Balcolny was very nice (also the spot where I proposed to my girlfriend, as it was chucking down at that point....she said YES!).

Breakfast - Breakfast was excellent! Cannot fault anything. It had all sorts from egg, bacon, beans to crossaints, pain au chocolat and fruit. Service was very friendly and again good spoken English, offering tea.

Overall stay - The weekend was absolutely brilliant, A holiday to remember and EuroPark had a big part to play. The location was perfect as it was a 10-15 minute stroll to Catalunya Square and La Rambla. Taxi from the Airport was 24 Euros and on the way back was strangely 40 Euros. There is a train station nearby that goes to and from the airport though (3 mins walk).

We will definately stay at this hotel again and hopefully the same room.
Amazing nothing else to say!!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: Rooms at back are much quieter.

Stayed at this hotel in June for 5 nights.

I think it's quite common for people to want hotels right next to Las Ramblas when visiting Barcelona, but staying here proved it isn't necessary and you might see a little more 'realness' of the city by staying just slightly outside of tourist central. The hotel is very close (about a 5min walk) to it's nearest station Girona, from which travelling around Barcelona is so easy.

We paid a little extra for the 'Top View' room, which gave us a private terrace with a really nice view. The room itself is big with most of the space taken up by a huge bed which was really comfortable. For two people it got a little cramped at times (with luggage etc.), but was a good size for a 3* hotel.

Taxis to and from the airport cost approx. 30 euros.

One flaw I found with this hotel - the lobby staff could do with being a little more friendly. It is so much nicer to arrive in a new city and be greeted with a smile and a positive welcome, which we didn't get from the concierge here.

Stayed here for 3 nights June 2012 - Hotel is approx 10 mins from the trainline (renfe) from the airport - turn to your left as you exit the subway station (passeig de gracia) - which is very handy when you arrive.

On arrival we checked in quickly and without fuss and was given room 206 - second floor, road facing with a balcony. The room was immaculately turned out, very clean and crisp. The aircon was on and the room was almost chilly! This was very welcome as even in June it was very warm - the aircon unit made a little hum but nothing too loud, and was also very easy to alter. We opened the balcony door - it was noisy with the door open but it was lovely to have some fresh air. I would say if you were a very light sleeper you might find it noisy at night, the traffic in the city is pretty non stop and starts from about 6am; do bear this in mind - ask for a room at the back of the hotel is noise is an issue. It didn't keep me up or bother me but I am from a city myself!

The hotel itself is loctaed in a residential/business district which is nice - its about 12 minutes from the centre of passeig de gracia where there are nice shops and restaurants as well as several metro stops and the tour bus. Each morning we ate at a lovely cafe called Moli Vell that is 2 blocks down on the way to Passieg Gracia. It was delicious - freezly squeezed orange juice and gorgeous pastries - we had pan au chocolats each morning - was really lovely!

The hotel is also about 10-15 minutes to Sagrada Familia which is breath-taking! So very convienient. We walked most places and it was generally fine - but as mentioned the metro isn't far away if you are not as keen on walking.

I don't really have any major criticisms of the hotel; 2 little things - one is no kettle - for the british who love their tea this was upsetting (well not quite upsetting but you know!) - the other thing was the toilet wasn't flushing propely sometimes - it would flush but then the tank would make a loud noise for agesss - we weren't in the room long enough for this to bother us, but would need looking at - but these are really tiny niggles.

I would stay here again - and I will be back to Barcelona. I can honestly say the 4 days spent in Barcelona were some of the best of my life. It really is an incredible city!

Room Tip: If you want a balcony you will need to face the road, but if you need quieter rooms go for the back...

Meant to write this review ages ago but kept forgetting. Anyway, we stayed in the Europark hotel in August 2011 and cannot fault this hotel in anyway. It was exactly what we were looking for. It is not in the middle of all the action, las Ramblas, etc, but its only a good 15 mins walk away or a few mins by taxi. The hotel is on a busy road, but we asked for a quiet room and did not hear any traffic noise, and taxi's can be flagged down quite easy, they are also very reasonably priced. Our room was lovely, clean and spacious. We were able to use the mini-bar for our own groceries, which was great. The hotel has a, very small, pool up on the roof which we used on a couple of occassions after a day of sight seeing. Most of the time we were the only ones at the pool and it was a real nice spot to chill out with a glass of wine. Unlike some other reviewers, we found the hotel staff very friendly and super helpful. There is a big supermarket about 5 mins from the hotel where you can stock up on water, fresh fruit, etc. There are a couple of restaurants close to the hotel if you do not fancy going back to the centre. We found an Indian restaurant around the corner from the hotel and the food was devine. It was a very busy restaurant and full of locals. Always a good sign, we think. Just a pity, I cannot remember the name of the restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room Pay a bit extra for the superior room

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in June 2012.

The hotel itself is great, it has everything you would expect from a 3* hotel, it's comfortable, clean, quiet and in a good location.

The bedrooms are quite large and the bed is very comfortable, we stayed in the Terrace suite (room 901) and the balcony had views of the road and Sagrada Famillia in the distance.

We used the metro station Girona which is a 5 min walk away to get round the whole of Barcelona, there are also lots of little shops, supermarkets and restaurants around the hotel.

A cab from the airport cost us about 30Euros which wasn't bad.

All in all a good hotel if you aren't looking to spend a lot of time indoors!
