“A little oasis of tranquility near the heart of a busy city”
Reviewed 30 October 2012

Just returned from a great 5 night stay at euro park. The rooms and whole hotel is spotlessly clean , and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was lovely and fresh and plenty of choice which put us on the a full day of sightseeing!! The location is about 15 mins walk along the busy main streets, and can understand why some reviews said they would rather be nearer la rambla some times we did feel it would be great not to have to walk down the bust streets, across countless road junctions to reach the centre - however on the other hand the location was great for sampling little quiet bars, restaurants and shops which were so much cheaper than in the more tourist districts!! And was so nice to go back to after the hustle n bustle of la rambla area. Would definitely satay here again - we went for our honeymoon and the hotel made it perfect

My wife and I, along with 26 other friends stayed at the Europark prior to going on a 12 day cruise. Our travel agent recomended this hotel to pople cruising from Barcelona. I found the Hotel to be exactly what was advertises. The web page displays what you you receive when you stay there. The rooms were clean, and the location was downtown, and convient to everthing we wanted. If I travel to Barcelona in the future in will stay at the Europark again. I saw many reviews on Trip Advisor prior to booking. Some complained about the noise and traffic. The traffic was always bad, as you should expect in a large city. My room was on the back side of the hotel, and I never heard any noise at all. I did have an issue with a leak in my room, and they offered to maove me to another room. I decided to stay in the room, but that was my choice. 100% satisfied.

Great location near a metro stop but also within walking distance of Las Ramblas. This hotel was wonderful and deserves to be a 4 star at least! The room was spacious and very clean with a flat screen tv and very modern ensuite (with a great selection of toiletries). The room (003)also had a terrace space with 4 chairs which would have been perfect in the summer months for afternoon drinks. The hotel provides breakfast which was self service and had a varied choice, the pastries were espcially yummy! There were also many little treats from the hotel along the way such as a welcome gift of chocolate almonds, bathrobes and slippers and the nicest treat, a cold bottle of Cava with 2 glasses! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and we are planning to return!

Room Tip: Ground floor with a patio space and near the back of the hotel...so nice and quiet.

100% reccomend this hotel. It is practically 4 star except that there is no bellhop. But elevators are close to reception and room are not so far either. I stayed with my boyfriend and we really enjoyed our stay here. They had a cute little pool and sweet roofdeck which was nice to get a pitcher of sangria or bring our own cava and relax after a long day and before dinner. There is an awesome market and super market right down block from hotel. Go There! Everything you want and need. We had a great HUGE king size bed and the room was very clean and nice and noise was not an issue at all. We had a view but no balcony but huge door opened up to street. We were on the 8th floor. I def loved the location, you can walk most everywhere and not be in the complete middle of city noise. You are super close to Familia Segrada and you can really walk to all other spots around town Ramblas, etc. We took the subway to the port and beach(keep a sharp watch on all yoru belongings at the beach, some slick thieves, but you just watch out, they willnot approach you but will def try to steal when you are not looking!) and to Placa Espana...AMAZING! Def must go to beach and go to Placa Espana and eat on top of arena and go to magic fountain show-GORGEOUS!! I loved barcelona and I def recommend this hotel 100%. Wi-fi is strong and good in room and they have computers to use as well and you can print free of charge. We bought our tickets for Famila Segada online so no waiting in line for us. Also plenty of great restaurants nottoo far from hotel. Barcelone is awesome and we were very happy at this hotel. we only went to breakfast once, but it was very nice. You must go to Placa Real, great restaurants and bars/cafe and people watching. We took bus from airport to Placa Catalunya. I think you could def walk to hotel from there but we had a bunch of luggage so took a 6 euro taxi to hotel. :)

Perfect location, front desk service, bathroom and bed. We had a superior room with a small deck in the back. Bathrobes and slippers waiting for us. Lots of great restaurants in the mostly residential area. Front desk people are good for suggestions.

Stayed at Europark for one week in September. This is a lovely hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff. I couldn't say anything negative about this hotel - really enjoyed our stay there. Had room on 6th floor - nice view to the front of the hotel. There are two lovely areas on the 8th floor for relaxing/sunbathing with views over the city - on one side the small rooftop pool and on the other side a small decked area with loungers. We didn't take breakfast in the hotel so cannot comment on that. If you prefer just a coffee in the morning, there is a lovely little place "Moli Vell" a few minutes walk away which serves a variety of coffees, juices, pastries etc. You can also order tea, coffee, drinks from the hotel bar at any time and are excellent value. We booked this hotel based on tripadviser reviews and if you stay there you shouldn't be disappointed. I would certainly stay there again if visiting barcelona, which is one of my favourite cities in the world.

The hotel is situated at walking distance of the segrada familia, some Gaudi houses (Casa Batllo and La perdrera) and the Passeig de Gracia (which we preferred over "La Rambla").
And is near the metro/train station of Passeig de Gracia where there is a direct trainconnection to the airport.

We really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious (superior room).

The breakfast was in general really good but the first morning the eggs and bacon were a bit cold ...

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit the Barcelona and especially if you want to visit the Gaudi Houses (casa Batllo is my favorite).

The pool was a bit cold to take a swim (we went mid-october; but otherwise a really nice time to visit the city : 20°-23°C) and we wanted to spend some time on the roofterrace in the sun, but all the sunbeds were taken.

Room Tip: Can't comment on the rooms on the street side, but the rooms on the backside are really quiet! O...
