We really loved this hotel. The room, the location, the rooftop pool and everything. Only minus would be the breakfast, really expensive and not very fresh but really amazing value for money in Barcelona. 2 steps away from sagrada familia and away from main bustle of city centre but very walkable. I can also imagine how great it must be in summer to have the air conditioning and pool on hot days. Will be back and recommend to friends who come to barcelona!

The rooms were clean, the staff was very helpful, the location was very good. I have nothing to say but good things about this hotel. If there was any complaint it would be the busy street but that was overshadowed by all the good qualities.

We chose this hotel based on its good Tripadvisor rating, and were very pleased with it. Our room was on the 6th floor facing the back courtyard, and so was very quiet with no street noise at night. Like most of the Spanish hotels we stayed in, there were 2 twin beds pushed together to make a king. The room was very clean and a comfortable size, with a large shower and bathroom. There were nice touches, like a hot pot for heating water for tea or instant coffee and a safe for valuables. The location is great, about 5 blocks south of the Sagrada Familia, one block from the Girona metro stop, in an area with lots of restaurants and coffee shops. The reception staff were very helpful, and there is a computer for guest's use with an attached printer so you can buy tickets for museums and sites on line and print them to avoid long lines. Barcelona is a beautiful city, and this was a very nice place from which to explore it.

Great location for sightseeing. Very close to metro and mainline connections. Modern, clean and better than many hotels we have stayed in. Friendly and helpful staff. Bar area good and close to lots of cafés and bars if you don't want to eat breakfast in the hotel.

Overall... The man at the desk was not at all friendly.
The location is very central. The pool was very very small and not heated.
The staff said it was heated. I wanted to swim because of traveling. The pool was so very shallow maybe 2 ft. Deep. The deck was sunny but the area was in disrepair. Not sure if it had a sauna or jacuzzi not working at the moment.
The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable but 2 separate beds... No fun! Thank You for the 8th floor. Wanted to stay 2 nights but the hotel was booked 2 months ago and unable to respond to my request for a second night.
A good place to get a haircut just a few doors away to the left as you exit hotel. Beverly Berrish

First time in Barcelona so had no idea where to stay but we came across this hotel which was reasonably priced and reviews on here were very good. Super impressed with the size of the room, very spacious and clean with excellent staff. Some reviews on here complain of noise but we were at the back on the second floor and very quiet. Lovely roof top terrace which is great for chilling out in the afternoon. Location was excellent with metro stop (Girona) a 2 min walk away. Computer access and free printing for tickets to sights was an added bonus. Is definitely more like a 4 star hotel than a 3 star. Would definitely stay again.

My partner and I stayed here during a week in March. We had a great room with a balcony. The staff were very helpful with ideas on where to visit while in Barcelona. The wifi worked great, and that tends to be important, since I often have to bring some work along with me even for vacation. The location of the hotel is close to several subway stops and within easy walking distance of shopping and sites.

Room Tip: Superior rooms are worth the extra charge and the rooms facing the street with balconies are double...
