The location is very central but located at a fairly busy road. The hotel is not a 4 star but rather a decent 3 star. The room I got was very small with a window facing another building a few metres away. Nice bathroom and fairly clean overall.

The hotel itself is next to a beautiful historic building and lots of people get off the tour bus to visit this area. The hotel staff speak English and were very pleasant. Check in was good. Rooms were a little smaller than I expected but decent enough for our stay. No kettle in the room but if you do want coffee or tea it is free in the lobby area.
The lobby area is really nice and sofas available to relax or wait. We asked for our rooms to be cleaned every day during our stay there but I do not think the standards of cleaning were very good the floor would still be filthy with our hairs brushed in the morning still hanging around on the floor but I just kept my shoes on the whole time unless i was in bed. We was on the 6th Floor and did not like the blinds in our room they rolled up over a slanted window over the bed and the blind was dusty which meant the dust fell off on to the bed. I booked this hotel as I thought this was a 4 star but I would rate this more as a 3 star for cleanliness. We ate breakfast at the hotel and I was not impressed with this either everyday you got the same food which was 80% pastries, they had scrambled egg which didnt taste very nice and turkey sausages which did not taste good either. Lots of fruit and juices available. Bread for toasting available and cheeses and cold hams. Selection of hot food was poor though. The hotel is in walking distance of the La Rambla and walking distance of the Beach both about 10-15 minutes each which is great. Walk in the opposite direction and you hit the local streets which are worth exploring. Hotel in general was nice and quiet and relaxed.

Lovely hotel in the heart of the Gothic Quater.

You step out of the historical streets of the Gothic Quater into a very modern and contemporary hotel.

The reception area is big and welcoming and the whole hotel is very clean.

The rooms are nice and comfortable with big beds and the bathrooms are also very good.

If you are visiting Barcelona, I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel was okay. The rooms were small and old, but the location was amazing. Right between the gothic quarter and el born ( great neighborhood for dinner and drinks) and a 5 min walk to the harbor- this hotel cannot be beat for the price. Would definitely recommend.
