Best value and staff in Barcelona. Remote but easy to get around. Quiet sanctuary. Changed plans to visit again. Great breakfast with all the fixings. Staff was extremely helpful. Top rated. Clean, comfortable and quiet.

This hotel was extremely nice. Exceptionally clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. My daughter and I stayed in the rooftop room which was very peaceful and quiet. The room size was perfect and designed ever so cozy. We only stayed one night but anytime I visit Barcelona in the future (which I definitely will), this will be where I stay. It's amazing that I spent so much time on the internet trying to find the perfect boutique hotel and Primero Primera exceeded my expectations. Thank you Primero for making our stay the best.

Room Tip: We stayed in the rooftop room which was excellent for the two of us and feel confident that any room...

Very nice family run hotel. We stayed for a short time and couldn't use all their facilities. The location was in a residential neighborhood and not close to the city centre. That is the only drawback. Else it is very nice.

As a birthday trip to Barcelona we stayed at this hotel which was booked by my husband so i had no idea what to expect. Was really pleased to find that it was very stylish and chic. Was greeted by friendly staff and shown around hotel and to room which was large and had everything you need.
Breakfast was continental and was served by friendly, smiling staff who would do anything to help.
Yes the hotel is out of town but only a short tube ride and you are in bustling city center so a quiet haven to return to for that nightcap at the honesty bar.
Definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: junior suite are spacious

Thought it worth sharing our experience of Barcelona since the trip was booked fairly last minute with Mr and Mrs Smith. Firstly - hotel, serene, uncomplicated, The breakfast was substantial, continental, with delicious fresh fruit, bread, cured meats, cereals, fruit juices, real coffee and a variety of teas. Room - perfect for 2 adults and a 12 year old who had a small ante room off of our rather large bedroom, which also had a small kitchenette with complimentary cold drinks and tea and coffee. Complimentary snacks were available in the salon throughout the day, with an honesty bar and free wifi. Staff, very sweet, rather chilled but helpful. Mr and Mrs smith were very professional and we received free cava and cake as a result of our booking with them. Barcelona - spectacular. Gaudi architecture - stunning. Took the red and green tourist bus around the city over two days, jumping on and off at the various and numerous places of interest. Would have liked to have spent more time in the medieval quarter. Didn't have anything per booked but went to the tourist office in the central square to book a guitar concert and flamenco evening - fab. Hotel is 4 or 5 metro stops from the city but did not prove problematic. Buy a T10 ticket which is fine for a week. Can't wait to return!

Room Tip: Some people did complain about the noise of a nearby road, but with the shutters closed we could not...

This is a very unique and stylish hotel located in a pleasant neighbourhood, not very far from the centre of Barcelona. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor of the hotel is attractive and shows great attention to detail, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. We loved the hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone unless they really need to stay in the livelier parts of Barcelona. We found a few very good restaurants within a five minute walk of the hotel, so its not necessary to go into the centre of the city for a high quality evening meal.

First thing you need to know is that this is a subway ride into the main city (<10 mins). But please don't let that deter you. The service was phenomenal, the room and amenities were more than comfortable and the residential neighborhood location allowed you to feel like a local in Barcelona. They have an honor bar system which allowed you to have flexibility on where you wanted to enjoy your time. The prices were reasonable and there were good restaurants in the area - check out Acontraluz!

Room Tip: attic rooms had cool architecture and a bit more privacy.
