Stayed at this hotel for a night and then a week later for 2 nights. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, allowed us to leave luggage at the hotel at 7am which they then placed into our room when the room was available, When we left they stored the luggage away for the day. If we had any questions they were only too happy to assist. Location is excellent being just off La Ramblas, opposite Guell Palace which is a local tourist spot with clear directions to. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was nothing special but had all the usuals to be expected of a basic continental breakfast and was not limited. Would use again.

Just had a long weekend in Barcelona and this hotel was a real find. Couldn't wish for a better spot. About a minutes walk to get on the Ramblas. Lovely and spacious bedroom with big terrace directly facing the Gaudi "chimneys" and a real sun trap. Breakfast excellent and huge choice. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again and can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Go for at least 4th floor facing the street so you can see the Gaudi building but don't walk aro...

We stayed here (2 adults 2 teenagers) for 2 nights on a pre cruise. Superb location, comfortable room, although the view was of the locals washing lines, but this is a minor grumble. The desk staff were more than helpful and although we were room only 260 euro was good value for money. Desk staff also allowed us to leave our luggage on our return from the ship as our flight back wasn't until the evening. This meant we were free to see the sights in comfort. Many thanks

Excellent location in La Rambla. Fantastic obliging staff. Rooms small (but hey this is Europe), and well appointed. Bathroom large. Only non positive - the bed was rock hard, and the pillows not much better.
Our room on 4th floor overlooked the Palau Guell - a Gaudi designed building well worth the price of admission too. There are stables underneath!
Highly recommed this hotel, it's location, staff and 'feel"is teriffic. despite the hard beds, I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to everyone

Room Tip: The higher the floor, the better the view.

We did not have a room with a view, but we had an amazing room nonetheless - more of a suite. What a delight! We had asked for a quiet room, and the room was perfect - Barcelona is noisy in the summer!
It seemed an older room with the minimum of furniture, but spotless and practical. The beds were extremely firm - pillows OK. I suspect it was a room for three or more, but for the two of us it was a suite with a bedroom, sitting room with TV and desk (and another single bed... there is a wardrobe closet and a door separating the main bedroom and secondary bedroom), and bath...perfect for those nights when one of you just can't sleep.
We had good internet access in the room, so I'm not sure about the other reviewers who could only access in the lobby.
It is directly across from a Gaudi designed apartment building and a few steps from Las Ramblas.
The side street is full of small grocery stores and fast food places.
The location is walking distance between two metro lines and a stroll away from the amazing La Boqueria market. It is also walking distance to the harbor, and more shopping options.
The breakfast was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

We stayed on the fourth floor with a balcony over looking the Palau Guell, amazing view! Great location because you are in the centre of everything. Only 4-5 minute walk to Liceu metro, just off the buzzing Las Ramblas, yet we heard no noise at night. Air-con worked perfectly. We didn't try the breakfast as 12 euros each is pretty expensive, instead we had breakfast at the Market La Boqueria every morning, you have to visit this market! (a 5 minute walk away, next to Liceu metro). Also there are plenty of good places to have breakfast on Las Ramblas. The London Bar is just a few doors down, sounds tacky but it isn't, really beautiful old bar with live music every night. We couldn't face the metro/bus journey on the way back to the airport, so we took a taxi, it cost us 25 euros. We'd definitely book Hotel Gaudi if we ever stay in Barcelona again, brilliant trip.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for a room with a view
