“Great Value & Location !!!!”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

The title sums it up pretty well. We found the CN to be very clean, a marvelous location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd like to mention our front desk man, Javier for exceptional service . He also recommended a great restaurant around the corner (La Fonda) which was also a great find! All in all I would highly recommend this hotel for other start/or end of cruise ship vacationers. Barcelona is a great stop on the journey.

Hello everyone.

Please let me give you very short description: the location of this hotel is very convenient (metro station, museums, restaurants, shops are quite close to the hotel). The hotel's staff is very friendly. Rooms are quite nice for this level of the hotel!
I liked it and can recommend particularly if you are planning to stay there for several days and have active vacation spending the time in the city.

Thank you.
Kind regards,
E.

The hotel is located less than a minute from Placa Reial and the Gothic Quarter. It is exceptional value for such a well located hotel. Staff are lovely and our room was equipped with a heavenly air-con unit! The only possible suggestion I could make would be a fridge and perhaps some extra toiletries. Otherwise a perfect base for Barcelona!

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room when booking, away from La Rambla.

We stayed here for 3 days prior to a cruise. Easy to get to by Metro from the train station and only a 10 minute walk to cruise terminal bus stop. The hotel is right in the middle of The La Rambla , with everything you want to do within walking distance or a short metro trip. We asked for a room at the back of the hotel and it was very quiet. The hotel has a nice lounge you can use if you want to sit and recuperate and a computer and printer. (BIG HINT - make sure you buy your Sagreda tickets on line + get audio guide and do nativity tower). Breakfast was just OK, I wouldn't pay extra for it but OK if included in the price. The guys working on the front desk were some of the happiest and helpful I have come across in a hotel.

Staff were very helpful and friendly (despite my extremely limited Spanish) and the room was clean and spacious. The lobby is very classy and the rooms are well equipped. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Barcellona.

Friendly and helpful staff and one will always speak English. Clean. Good breakfast. A fridge in the room during HOT summers would be great. Great locations.close to markets, shops, restaurants and many touristic objectives.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the main street.

My 3 teen/20-something children stayed here on a family vacation. They shared a room with 3 beds. Although it was not fancy, it was more than adequate, clean and in a nice location right on the Ramblas. The breakfast that was included was very good, and the staff were very hospitable. If you are looking for something a little more budget conscious, this was a good choice. Their room overlooked the Ramblas so it was fun to watch all the activity.
