“A MUST for lovers of Roman a History”
Reviewed 25 October 2013

Fantastic layout of Roman ruins with an excellent audio guide. Have seen quite a lot of Roman ruins over the years but not a gush salting and sauce making area, nor fabric dyeing. Very interesting

“Very interesting”
Reviewed 18 October 2013 via mobile

A nice museum with free audio guides with entry. The main visit is the underground city of Barcelona from 100 to 700 AD. You do go underground and see the workings of a laundry/fabric dying area, fish saice making area and winery. And artifacts associated with these occupations. The middle ages part consisted of two areas of a castle. Also had some artifacts from this time period. Some times it was not clear what number you should push to "play". If you like ancient history this was very good.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed 18 October 2013

If you are a fan of Roman history this museum is a must see. The excavations underneath the main building are quite amazing. So well displayed and accessible. You can have an audio guide in English, part of the entrance fee, and I advise that you take one. The museum in general explains the history of the city from 1st century a.d. There is a short film which plays on a loop in different languages, including English, so you have to wait for your language to come around but worth a look, and also gives you the chance to sit down for 10 minutes in the cool!

“VERY Underestimated!”
Reviewed 16 October 2013

We just dropped-in with no real expectations. This place is fantastic! The ruins and walk ways are really interesting and well described. On a typical hot day, a great place to get in the cool and a lovely shaded square outside. Well worth a visit
