Good, well-designed hotel, close to La Rambla, with helpfull staff, BUT I can't understand why they can't put glass cups for water / wine in the room ? I found out only plastic cups in bathroom. The same about welcoming water in the room. It doesn't costs anything, but it is great if you can find it in the room. Outstanding view from the terrace.

We stayed in this hotel before our cruise out of Barcelona. All the public areas are very clean, trendy and in perfect condition. Staff at reception very friendly and helpfull. Room size is ok for a city hotel and very trendy and clean. Did not take the (expensive) breakfast so can't say anything about that. In the lobby and at the pool are vending machines with coffee, sodas, little snacks, ... Best thing about the hotel is...the GREAT pool!! Not that big, but the view is incredible! Only negative there: not enough chairs! Also no bar in hotel/pool which is a pitty. I would stay here next time if we will go on a cruise again: near port, near Ramblas... so perfect!

Really good value for money! Lovely clean hotel with welcoming and helpful staff, a little disappointed that we got 2 singles instead of a double bed but can't complain too much. No bar which keeps it at 3* rating but really it's easily 4* at least. The pool is amazing. Enjoyable stay!

We stayed here for 1 night before boarding our Disney Cruise Ship. I had two rooms and found their rooms to be very nice, clean and I felt very secure in this hotel.

The staff spoke English well. All the staff that we interacted with went out of their way to be helpful and were very courteous during our stay.

The hotel location was perfect and in walking distance to all the major historic locations of Barcelona.

Barcelona by the way...was an amazing City. We loved how clean the whole city was and thoroughly wished we had stayed in this city longer than the 36-hrs we were there.

Great hotel. Hope to visit again soon.

Stayed for the weekend with my wife and wanted somewhere that was good value as we wanted to spend our money seeing the city and not necessarily the inside of a hotel room.

The Andante is located within a few minutes walk of the El Gotic area at the bottom of La Rambla and this makes it ideal as a base. The hotel is modern, clean, has good sized rooms with comfortable beds and you feel safe as you can only get into the hotel, lift and rooms with your door card.

For the price of couldn't find anywhere with breakfast included and a roof top pool. The view from here was outstanding.

Only thing missing was a bar but there are plenty to choose from within a few minutes walk that are open until the early hours.

Friendly staff and a good breakfast topped off a great stay.

We will definitely be back.

Great hotel, wonderful location, nice helpful staff. This place has a wonderful rooftop pool and patio that overlooks the city and sea. I would definitely recommend a stay here, very clean and cool surroundings.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here in March for a short, 4-day city break (a surprise Christmas present). The hotel is in an ideal location, situated minutes away from La Rambla and in walking distance to family attractions such as the zoo. Although you could get there by taxi/bus, La Sagrada Familia is only a 45 minute walk away and a great way to take in the beautiful views and atmosphere of the city - and IT IS worth seeing! The hotel is beautifully decorated with a modern finish, the rooms have spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a shower that can definitely fit two. The view from the roof pool is absolutely stunning, but breezy, anyone looking to go in March it is not very warm and I often found myself wearing a winter coat so wrap up! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this hotel, and even though I did not eat breakfast in my stay, the breakfast hall looked lovely and appetising and if I was visiting Barcelona again I would choose this hotel. I found it very difficult to explain to taxi drivers 'Andante Hotel' so if you experience the same problem, don't say I didn't warn you!
In addition, Barcelona is pretty expensive so make sure you stock up on spend!!
