This hotel has a lot going for it, and with just a little care, could be amazing! We stayed for six nights.

Good points:
- Convenient location in El Raval. The Christopher Columbus statue is at the end of the street, Las Ramblas is five minutes walk away and you are equidistant to Drassanes and Parallel metro stations. The immediate surrounding area is quiet and generally a bit bleak, but it’s very safe. You are also very close to Sant Atoni and Poble Sec suburbs which is where we ate out; these are good areas to find non-touristy tapas bars and restaurants.
- Comfy beds and strong shower pressure
- Good quality Wifi & full size safe that’s big enough for a laptop
- Roof terrace with pool – it was always busy, but we could always find a place to put down a towel on the decking and the view is stunning

Bad points:
- Maintenance. We arrived on a Saturday night and our wardrobe was broken as the heavy door has fallen off its tracks. The hotel doesn’t employ maintenance staff over the weekend, so we had two nights with nowhere to put our clothes.
- We were also allocated a triple room with 3 single beds when we had booked a double. We were told if we wanted to change then it would cost us €20 and that we shouldn’t expect to receive a double bed if we had booked a double room, that a double room could mean either twin beds OR a double bed. Fortunately the hotel eventually changed our room for free, which was appreciated.

Room Tip: Make sure you contact the hotel in advance for a double bed

Great place, has everything you need and everything thought of for your stay to be comfortable and easy in this bustling busy city. Great cosmopolitan feel and easy on the budget, but doesn't ever feel cheap or lack quality. The rooms are clean, basic but fun and functional.

The breakfast is superb!

The roof terrace is small but a perfect place to go and observe the city by day or night. Dressanes is a slightly down-market area, a stones throw from Las Ramblas, but on lots of bus routes for getting out and about.

We chose this hotel for the pool and it is small but did not disappoint. Great view! It is very conveniently located and the staff was friendly and helpful. We "rented" beach towels here for a deposit which was refunded when you turned the towels back in. This hotel was right on Las Ramblas and very close to a metro station, which we used a lot. The only thing I didnt really like about this hotel was that it had 2 twin beds that were pushed together... Not very comfortable in a romantic setting. Other than that, we were very pleased with the Andante

I booked this hotel for the infinity pool for my wife. We were not disappointed (rare when talking about infinity pools). The hotel was clean and well appointed and good value for money.

The wi-fi worked well throughout our stay and the staff were courteous and helpful. This is a great choice for the cheap-but-not-budget traveller.

Hotel was in a great part of Barcelona, near the Ramblas, a few blocks from the waterfront. The staff at the hotel was superb. Very, very friendly, helpful, all of them.

The beds were super comfortable, the room was quiet and very modern spacious bathroom

Wifi worked everywhere,

I would definitely recommend this hotel highly to anyone traveling to Barcelona

It was surprisenlyIt was surprisingly great 3 star hotel – even much better than some 5 star. First of all we liked the location – nice and central area. The hotel is very clean and minimalistic style. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but there are plenty of cheaper choices nearby. There is no fridge in the room which is a disadvantage during the hot summer days. Bur there is a supermarket just across the road where you can buy cold water since it was very expensive water in vending machines at the hotel. Air condition worked very well. Swimming pool on the roof is great (if you use it very early in the morning or late in the evening), otherwise there are always too many people there. You have really nice view from the roof. WE would definitely stay at this hotel again if we get a good price.

This hotel is located near La Rambla however, I felt that I was passing through back alleys to get to it. Let's face it, I booked based on price, pool, location and roof top views. The pool is nothing more than a photo op as it is very small. The roof top is tiny and crammed with guests, but WOW what a view! A good basic hotel that I would be unlikely to return to. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel, so I am unable to comment. Rooms are spacious and VERY quiet. i did not hear a peep.
