We ate here on Wednesday 16th April (and at Montiel the following evening) so it is easy for us to compare. The food here is excellent and good value by comparison. We took the most expensive menu and was delighted with the dishes prepared by the chef Vida who also happens to wait on the tables describing each and every dish in detail. He explained the because of this he can only really manage 4 or 5 tables each evening. There is no wine paring however Vida recommended a red wine (Altto) which we both thought was delightful. His dishes are very inventive and one or two of them truly outstanding. Location isn't great, it's a good 45 minute walk from the city centre or 10 minutes in a taxi but this would not stop us visiting again. Clearly the chef loves his little restaurant and you get that passion from him. All in €160 for 2 inlcuding the tip which is about half the price of London! The food was special but the restaurant lacked a little character and ambience.
