Such a shame to write this review as the beach is actually very nice and the nightlife surrounding it with the views are fantastic - however the sellers on the beach ruined all opporunity as to why you go onto a beach - relax, converse and to have fun. Im not exaggerating, every two minutes we and other beach users surrounding us were constantly hassled into being sold mojitos/massages/beach wear/henna tattoos, sex (That was a rare one but still was surprised), beer, water. The women espically doing the massages would interupt you sleeping or talking with friends to aggressively try and sell you massages, often touching and rubbing people and sitting down with groups for minutes to make you feel awkward. It became apparent it was illegal activity as when the police were doing their rounds, the sellers would hide stock in the sand, run off or sit with beach users to casually blend in. I saw women hiding underneath users chairs as they were massaging someone. I understand these people could be being exploited, however their manipulation and aggression is totally unacceptable and gives the beach a bad name. The only way to identity these “offenders” is for the police to attend the beach in civilian clothing - you will NEVER be able to assess and solve the situation fully dressed in uniform.

The beach is well kept, cleaned everyday and so litter free. Good bars. We noticed volunteers litter picking towards the end of day!

Very crowded, touristy long beach with access to restaurants and in close proximity to Las Ramblas and few attraction places. Great place to chill out or swim however shower and washroom are limited thereforo you need to queue up for pretty long time..

We went from Montjuic on the aerial tram which was really cool. We ate at the Jefferson which was wonderful. The kids played in the water and we had great drinks and tasty tapas. Can't beat a day like that.
