“Nice place to end up after a long walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 March 2014

A mall with all the necessaries in order to have quite a rest after a long day of Barcelona sightseeing, it's relatively close to all attractions and metro stations. Stores kind of expensive, free wifi and if you have the Barcelona card many of the stores give you some discounts. Nice people also with awesome ocean view.

“Only on a Sunday... ”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 February 2014 via mobile

Shopping mall by the sea... No reason to come here unless you have an insatiable need to shop in the same shops you see in every city around europe on a Sunday... Hideous and crowded.

“NICE VIEW BUT YOU PAY FOR IT”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 February 2014

Had a drink and cheese roll here on a few occasions, the view of the harbour is great and a good chill place. Drink measures are good but drinks and rolls are pricey, never been when busy.

“Excellent & Marvellous on Sun, as all other malls are closed in Barcelona on Sun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 February 2014

It's only a mid to low-end "small" mall for shops (in Barcelona) and not excellent in food (all enjoy-on-my-own ones on highest floor are closed down except Gusto, the Paella one). I didn't choose the high end ones, as I found them very pricey, and I'm on my own on Sun evening, given my wife and daughter were tired and talking nap in appartment.

Let me stress it again, it's the ONLY 1 shopping mall open on Sun (all shops except soveniur shops closed on Sun in whole Barcelona). It's not a normal size mall but actually pretty small and there are tons of people there on Sun evening given ALL other malls are closed in Barcelona. It's walkable distance (10min) from metro station Drassanes Line 3.

I'm lucky as my visit to Barcelona was in early Feb (discount season in Spain), hence still can buy something from Maremagnum. Brands I felt worth to see as an adult man are: Bershka, Desigual, Munich, Macson. I got a nice desigual leather jacket at 70 Euro (70% discount). But I cannot get anything from Bershka, as too many shoppers there and my sizes were gone.

There's a bubble park (tricycle track and buggydome) for kids just outside Maremagnum, I really want to bring my daughter there, but time is not enough for me.
