“Would go back again!!”
Reviewed 11 August 2012

Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and spoke good english. Were happy to help with everything we asked about. Rooms are spacious and spotless. The bathroom we had was very spacious too having a bath tub with a shower over, 2 hand basins and vanity mirror, separate toilet cubicle and another shower cubicle. We had room only basis but did try the buffet breakfast one morning which was excellent value and had panoramic views of the city. The hotel is in a great location with a short walk across to Sants station or a short walk around the corner to the nearest tube stop Tarragona. We purchased a T10 ticket which cost 9.50 euros and covered 10 journeys around Barcelona on and off the tube and our return journey to the airport!! Fantastic value. There is also a hypermarket just around the corner from the hotel that sells everything you could think of. We also used the roof top pool and sunbeds at the Expo hotel next door and this was heaven after a morning of sight seeing and up and down steps of the tube stations. I also went to the spa and used the large jacuzzi swimming pool, steam room and sauna which cost me 6 euros. Well worth every penny. To sum up great location, good value, excellent facilities, would go back again!

Stayed here for 3 nights, on arrival we were upgraded to a room on the 19th floor as the standard room we booked was unavailable.. The views from the room was amazing!
Room itself was big, beds were lovely and very clean. The bathroom had a shower and bath 2 sinks and again very clean. Molton Brown toiletries a bonus!
Breakfast we ordered once and for 20 euros a bit expensive but in all honestly it was huge and enough for 2 people to share!
Visited the bar every night too, was nice before going out for dinner and staff were very friendly.
We made use of the spa which was lovely too.
Location wise it was good right near a metro station and buses and taxis available at all times.
The staff in reception were helpful, every morning we'd ask them for advice on were we wanted to visit and they gave us maps etc.
I have nothing bad to say about the stay, this hotel will be visited again :)

Well, very friendly and helpful staff very clean with great views of the city, delicious and plentiful breakfast buffet served daily high on top of the hotel with 360 view of the city of Barcelona. Close to the main Sants train station, within walking distance to most of the main attraction in the city. that was our 2nd . time in barcelona and it certainly was our bets time we had. Will certainly go back.and highly recommend to anyone traveling to barcelona.

I booked this hotel as part of a 3 night package for a birthday present for my partner with also the intention of proposing in Barcelona. I had checked all the reviews on Expedia and Trip Advisor and thought that this hotel would make a good choice. I was proven right.

The hotel is located a few hundred yards away from one of the main train staions in Barcelona, The Estacio Sants. However, do not let this fact put you off as when you're in the hotel you don't get any noise at all and the area is always kept very clean. Being so close to this station means that it's perfect for Train, Metro, Bus and Taxi links across the entire city and beyond.

Check in was quick and pain free and I could not praise both Valentina and Georgina enough for their friendliness, professionalism and help. They even left a note and a small cheesecake to say happy birthday to my partner. A nice touch. The room was a good size with an equally good sized bathroom with two sinks, toilet, bidet and bath with good shower above. Everything was clean and comfortable. This was a collection room and located on floor 17 with nice views over the city.

We didn't have time to make use of the spa and were too interested in exploring to use the restaurant and bar but if they were of the same standard as the rest then I'm sure they'd be excellent too.

If you're wanting a very nice hotel a little away from the centre (10mins on Metro) with good rooms and excellent staff then look no further. Highly Recommended.

PS She said YES!!!!

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors command a better view of the city. Collection rooms or Suites seem to be the...

Excellent location for a city break. Close to the train station and just 3 stops from the airport , air conditioned, spacious train. Buy open top bus ticket and receive voucher booklet for discount on main attractions.
Staff very helpful and best value meal by far in the bar area. Everything you could wish for at breakfast including panoramic views. Various very pleasant seating areas both inside and out
Walking distance to incredible fountain display and Spanish village. Far nicer than las ramblas area.

My wife, our teenagedaugther and I stayed at GHTC for five days in july. Room at 9th floor. Very pleased with room, tidyness and service. Had extra bunk i room. Nada problema due to space. The rooms are large and good vented. Staff very friendly and proactive. Food at 23rd? Menu was very limited. Value for money?Well, lets use an old phrase: Done that, been there! The view from restaurant is stunning.
Communication to/from landmarks and shoppingarea was Ok! And to those who like chasing balls on green fields: Walking distance to barca's playground! You can easily stay here with teenies, minies and betweenies! Next year I will bring all our kids and grandchildren and we will stay for weekend topping three weeks at the coast.

This is a very nice hotel that is across the street from the Barcelona Sants train station. If you are traveling in or out of Barcelona using the train this hotel is an excellent option. It is a bit out of the way for most sight seeing but that was not my main reason to be there. However the subway stations are close and service is excellent and quick to get around. From my perspective the location near the train is a definite plus for business travel.

The room I had was very comfortable and had all expected amenities. The bathroom was very nice. The room was very clean. It was easy to work in the room when necessary. The dining room has an incredible view of the city as it is on the top floor of the hotel. It is very pleasant place to have a meal and view the city.

The staff was very helpful with just the right amount of assistance without being over bearing. Check in and Check out was very efficient and they were very helpful with internet connection issues (my errors, not theirs).

At the time I booked, there was a good price for a room which made this hotel an overall excellent hotel choice.
