This is a very smart design hotel, but it does what it does very well. Great rooms with all the amenities you would expect for a hotel at this end of the market, and we also had a balcony. The rooms are serviced twice a day so there are always plenty of fresh towels, replenished toiletries etc.
The staff were friendly but there does appear to be a door policy for the bar at night - although as a resident they obviously let you in, but we did see plenty of non-residents turned away. Samuel Eto'o didn't appear to have any trouble though!
Our breakfast wasn't included in the hotel rate so we only ate there once - at 23.50 euros per person you need to make sure you are hungry. Having said that, it was very nice, and as it is served until 11.30 each morning, you can take your time.
As others have mentioned, the location is superb for shopping, eating and sightseeing.
If you want to eat in the hotel restaurant, Moo, you need to book in advance as it has a very good reputation, and so consequently was fully booked before we arrived.More
