We hadn't planned this tour and were so very happy that we went. An amazing park - architecture astounding. Vendors were plentiful but not annoying. Very affordable earrings made wonderful gifts for young friends back in the states!

Palace Guell is located on the La Rambla, very easy to reach by metro. But if you have time it is better to walk around the surrounding, very nice things to see, great atmosphere. Audioguide is included in the entrance free and it explains the history of the building very well. Beautiful rooms, furniture and lot to know about Gaudi’s artwork. Pay attention to the details, they are really amazing. Don’t miss to visit when in Barcelona.

I loved the park and the monumental area, as well as the Gaudi house/museum, but I didn't like the queues for entrance and also the bad timing between the entrances, which make you lose some time. But it worths.

We purchased the guided tour of the palace and it was great. The tour guide was very informative. She supplied facts and details we found interesting, would have missed on our own. The palace is very grand and showcases Gaudi's early work as an architect.

By going to this place, you will understand Gaudi better than going to Sagrada familia. His design is so cute and advance. I don't know design and art, but I have a feeling, designers nowadays are still inspired by his work, maybe some designs are even copy of his. He is such an amazing person. ps the outter walls are under restoration, can't take a photo of the building from the outside:(
