This hotel is located in a great location for exploring Barcelona. The rooms are basic…No down pillows available here either…seems to be a thing in Spain. Was asked if I wanted a non-smoking room….so I guess they still have smoking rooms….
The rooms was comfortable but a little worn….liner curtains and part of wall were really dirty.
Walls very thin and windows not very well sound-proofed. Found back of hotel very noisy even on the 4th floor.
Staff was very genial and lobby bar area appealing.

I arrived for a surprise weekend in Barcelona at the Hotel Pulitzer. We were greeted by friendly staff and a modern, stylish hotel. When we arrived at our room it was clean and nicely decorated but we were disappointed to find two beds pushed together and no bath. My husband went down to talk to reception and they moved us straight away to a lovely double room with bath and balcony.

We thought we would start our evening out with a G&T at the bar. They were extremely large and refreshing and served by friendly, engaging staff.

Room service was good value and yummy.

We had a wonderful stay and they called a taxi for us to the airport and also reunited me with my passport that I had left unlocked in the hotel safe.

Would recommend if you want a central, friendly hotel.

This hotel is in a perfect spot to explore the beautiful city of Barcelona. it is just off the top end of Las Ramblas , near the Pl. de Catalunya and multiple subway stations. Hotel has a boutique feeling, nice rooms, very quiet and a good breakfast. Check in was fast and maps and various brochures for tours, etc was provided. The Aeroport bus to the airport goes from the opposite side of the Placa every 5 minutes for Terminal 1, costs €5.90 per person. As I said, great location but a good hotel as well.

Room Tip: We were in a room near the back/ side....no street noise at all.

This is a fantastic hotel for touring Barcelona. The location is brilliant, very central to La Ramblas, the key shopping streets, gothic quarter and the hop on/hop off buses are 5 minutes away. The staff are very friendly and helpful with restaurant bookings. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is very good as far as European breakfasts go and they have an awesome Nespresso machine! There is free wi fi in the hotel and they are affiliated to a brilliant gym which you can frequent at no charge. The only missing element is a pool area but they do have an upstairs deck for drinks. Overall, this is a great choice for touring Barcelona.

The hotel is a matter of metres from Catalunya plaza, which is situated at the top of the Ramblas. It's location is its big big plus. It is right in the heart of the city but safely tucked away for a peaceful nights stay. It is a modern boutique hotel which allows you to enjoy yourself without being oppressive.

The breakfast is good and without the fuss of a large hotel and without having to stand with your plate waiting your turn.

The rooms are very clean and adequately sized for a centrally located hotel. You pay a bit extra for this hotel but it is worth it.

Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. Perhaps best to book bed and breakfast as you would want to enjoy the culinary delights of the Alfresco restaurants in Barcelona.

Make sure you do the Citybus tour on the first day as it will allow you to get your bearings.

Enjoy

Room Tip: All rooms seemed decent to me.

We first loved that we could walk from the airport shuttle drop off at Plaza Cataluña. We had planned on taking a taxi when a local pointed out how close the hotel was. The check in was fast and friendly, the room was very clean and perfect in every way. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment on that. The location was perfect and it will be the hotel we return to when we return to Barcelona again.
