Very close to La Ramblas. Hotel clean and quiet but close to everything. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there. Also reasonably priced. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Very close to La Ramblas. Hotel clean and quiet but close to everything. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there. Also reasonably priced. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
Very central - good access to Ciutat Vella and Eixample. Everything you need within walking distance and metro/trains on the same block. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded, perhaps through booking on-line via hotel's own web-site. Outstanding 7th floor room - very spacious.
Arrived off the bus from the airport and it was about a 5-10 minute walk from the main square at the top of Las Rambles.
Bang smack in the middle of two main streets, but from inside you can't hear any road noise.
Hotel has a lovely roof top terrace with a small pool - we went in January and although it wasn't cold, I didn't tempt the pool as it felt a lil cold.
Staff were pleasant and friendly and spoke good English compared to my Spanish.
Bed is huge and I mean huge could have fit another 3 people in it.
Room clean and tidy with all the mod cons - expect for a kettle - I'm English and I like a cuppa tea. don't want to have to order room service, so was a little disappointed there was no in room tea facilities. That was my only bug bear.
Breakfast was lovely - nice breakfast area and everything you could want on hand to eat. hot selection was a bit strange - new potatoes on one day - but I'm willing to give anything a bash once.
all in all it was a lovely hotel and I would recommend it - just remember to take a travel kettle and tea/sugar/cups with you (they do have a fridge in the room).
Just returned from 2 night stay at the Jazz. We arrived at hotel at midday, way before check-in time and they said our room would be ready in 45mins...great service. We decided to take a walk and they offered to provide secure storage for our bags...even better service. As we had no baggage we stayed out longer. The room was spacious, clean, modern and very comfortable. We had room 504 overlooking the road and Hotel Inglaterre. It had a julliet balcony so we could have fresh air, but when closed it had great sound proofing. Room had AC,TV (Mostly Spanish obviously)and a huge safe for laptops etc and bathroom had full bath with shower, only down side was no in room tea/coffee facilities.
Roof top had nice sized pool and lots of sun beds, free towels and sitting/socialising areas.
Breakfast buffet was excellent and had all you could want...cereals, fruits, yoghurts, cakes/danishes, breads and of course fried bacon/eggs etc, juices and tea/coffee.
Room Key cards operate lift so good security.
When we checked out, we were offered the same secure storage for our bags should we need it...what a great service.
All the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous, they even have reduced price tickets for the 'Bus Turistic' which covers 3 routes and is well worth the money.
All in all a great hotel in a great location which we would highly recommend.
If we visit Barcelona again we will definitely return to the Jazz.
This hotel was very nice! The service/staff was amazing and it was close to the metro, shopping and restaurants. We stayed in a twin room for 3 nights, April 2014.
A few things worth mentioning:
- Rood from the restaurant was good!
- Very modern and clean
- You could easily hear people talking in the hallway but it didn't bother me.
- The bed was a bit hard/springy but this is typical for Spain
We stayed here for 5 nights in April and found it very nice. Good location. Walking distance to many things (la Rambla, la Boqueria, Barcelona cathedral and many others). Staff was friendly and helpful.
Water pressure was good and tub drained well. Can be hard to regulate water temperature. Also, check the where the shower head is pointed. You might get sprayed especially after your room is made up.
