This was the very first cathedral my children had ever entered and they were in awe. It is filled with a rich history and apparently one of the most important gothic churches in Barcelona, dating back to the 14th century, having replaced an earlier Romanesque church built in the same place. Definitely worth a visit and we paid a group price of only 12 Euro for 4 people to enter. Not crowded at all and the extensive pamphlet and numerous sign boards inside the church provide loads of information - in English as well as Spanish.
