The hotel was centrally located, walking distance to ramblas and the shopping district. Convenience stores right outside and the parking garage is 50m away. The only downside is that you can’t get a late check out as it is a boutique hotel with 18 rooms and is usually sold out which is not their fault. :)

Our first day in Spain before a one week formal tour. Used the Aeroport bus for 12 euros, a two block stroll from Plaza Catalunya, and with the help of the front desk, found some of the sights and good food nearby. Would visit again!
Just returned from a 3 night stay here. Excellent location, great staff, wonderful decor, rooms were spotless, great little terrace. Felt really secure with the lobby being manned until midnight. Highly recommend.
Hotel is in an excellent location to access the sites as well as restaurants on foot. Fabulous decor, very clean and tidy rooms, helpful staff, comfy beds and despite being adjacent to the street there was minimal noise so it was possible to get a good nights sleep! (Yay!) This is something we struggled with at many other establishments on our journey through europe. Breakfast was in the foyer with tea/coffee and a small range of sweet pastries. For a more substantial breakfast you need to seek out a suitable cafe. Overall, highly recommend the Vasanta Hotel.
This was a great hotel! Very chic & thoughtfully designed to the last detail, safe & secure, comfortable, nice coffee + pastry breakfast. Also in a great location in the Gothic Quarter, public transit within walking.
Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel due to many factors - location was great as we could walk to many sites - room was very comfortable, and decorated nicely - toilet, sink, tub and shower worked - lots of small restaurants that were great in the area, an easy stroll - no complaints whatsoever!
