“Very fine snacks”
Reviewed 23 April 2014 via mobile

Hitting Masqmenos one hour before the usual spanish rush-hour of lunch we were serviced and served our food in an instant. Service was very friendly and menue was english with authentic pictures which helped ordering what we wanted.

We ordered a sandwich (fine), salad with goat cheese (awesome, ordered it a second time), melon cream soup (not my kind of taste) and potato tortilla (very tasty). As the place filled up it turned out to be a little harder to get the waiter to notice us but we didn't mind, just brought our money to the bartender and left the place.

All in all we found Masqmenos to be a fine place to have healthy snacks in contrast to the touristy places nearby that only seem to serve greasy food.

“Average food, poor service”
Reviewed 19 April 2014

Went for a late dinner tonight and service was awful - brusque and at points outright rude. Don't know if it was just a case of being lost in translation, but given the unremarkable food and the wealth of options in the area, I'd just go somewhere else.

“A quick bite in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere”
Reviewed 18 September 2013 via mobile

We chose the restaurant because we were tired and hungry and it did not have a line. It has a limited menu but some good tapas, sandwiches and plates of crudités a good ventresca tuna salad and a nice service. Nothing memorable by got the job done. Too bad they did not have any fried tapas available

“Excellent Tortilla!!”
Reviewed 5 September 2013 via mobile

Ok so its pricy, though not for this area. There are no high chairs. BUT it has the best Tortilla I've ever tried. Rich and slightly runny on the inside. Cant comment on anything else but worth a trip for just that!

Oh and friendly staff!

“Another gem on Rambla Catalunya with an uber modern interior”
Reviewed 13 July 2013

Jamon hanging, racks of wine - mix of old and new. We ate here late one evening when the outside tables were closed at 11.00 - so much for the Spanish eating late :-) Service was very good and tapas and cava as good as you would expect. Traditional and modern tapas in a bright modern coffee shop environment. Lots of locals too which is a good sign.
