If you are not convinced about vegetarian food, this will definitely change your mind. The "toma castaña" and the mango carpaccio with lime and coriander ice cream were quite something.

...How vegan food could get to such a level. That’s my new reference.
Of course the tapas starters were unavoidable: croquetas, bravas were so spot on and not greasy. The main tacos and kimchi were also well presented.
The service was real and warm. The place is small and tucked in a corner but that makes it the type of tapas bar you want to go back again and again

This restaurant offers a unique slant on vegan food, with unconventional recipes and experimental dishes. The prices were relatively expensive given the portion sizes, which were generally modest. The restaurant is well situated within the Gothic quarter.

We had the patatas bravas and pitta bread with tofu dip to start - both of which were excellent and a great way to fill up cheaply (6 euros each). Indeed the bravas were the best we had during our five day stay in Barcelona. We chose the black bean tortilla and tempeh skewers next, which were both tasty and original, albeit costly for the portion size. The tempeh came with a slightly curried sauce and was on the soft side. We finished with the chocolate truffles - three decadent mouthfuls of bliss. To accompany the meal we had a couple of pints of locally brewed lager, which tasted of hops. The service was fast and the staff knowledgeable.

Overall we had a very good time. It should be noted that the restaurant has a Slow Food Award (lots of the food is sourced locally) and has a plethora of vegan options. The only reason I'm not providing a five star review is the cost of the dishes, many of which were expensive for the quantity of food provided.

We came here for lunch last year and again for dinner innour holiday this year. It's the best vegetarian restaurant around! We had a delicious selection of food to share, the Spanish omelette was amazing and beautifully presented with edible flowers. Patatas bravas also a hit! Staff are friendly and make good recommendations, good drinks choices too including local beers. We are recommending to everyone!
