The waiter is crazy and could shout at the people at the street if they only want to take a picture! Never come back! Not recommended!!

The staff is very unfriendly. The waiter afroamericano shouts at the people in the street if they make fotos! The owner also thinks that it's ok!
Not recommended for anyone!

“Entertainment all The Way”
Reviewed 23 October 2013 via mobile

Came upon this place by chance on our first visit to Barcelona and so pleased we did. I have never seen two bar staff work as hard to mix excellent drinks whilst keeping the show going with music and entertainment. First thing is the beers and mojitos are excellent but it is the over the top way they are mixed which gives the bar the edge. Ask the bar man to do his party trick by carrying a glass of wine balanced on his head from the bar up to the terrace across cobbled streets...a real party piece.

“Among the Best in Barcelona”
Reviewed 23 August 2013 via mobile

This adorable little gem is hidden in the small "plaça del rei" near metro station "jaume I". Nomen est omen, it's decorated with genuine antique furniture, and has a great terrace, surrounded by the castle walls, in which Columbus once got his budget approved, to go find some Indians. The black barkeeper literally keeps the show going on, entertaining the guests with great music, mainly jazz and rare funk. The drinks are perfectly mixed, try the mango mojito, even the beers (catalan Moritz) take a minute or two, to make perfect head, and if you ask for it, they will mix both the darker and the brighter draft for you. Small snacks, chips & pica pica to round things up. This authentic place is worth a visit. Or two. Or just make it your second living room, as I did.
