“Good”

Bit tricky as no English menu, just a hand written board in Spanish which my translation app struggled to read. After a lot of Google translating we finally managed to order some tapas. Despite what others said we were full after €40s worth of tapas. It was delicious. I loved the fried aubergine! However the salmon was too raw for my liking.

“Really great tapas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 June 2014

This restaurant does great tapas. It is situated on the main Rambla in Poblenou. It's a nice street to walk down.

The waiter was friendly and patient with us, he explained the menu in English so we could understand it.

It looks small from the outside but it goes back quite far. They don't have any tables out the front on the street but the restaurant has an internal courtyard where they can open up the roof.

“A wonderful tapas restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 June 2014

We went here because of the ratings on Tripadvisor, and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere is informal with a cool, laid back interior. The menu was on a big black board in Spanish, but the waiter explained every dish in English. We didn't really know what we ordered, but we truly enjoyed every tapa. They were creative, artistic and tasty. They may be more expensive than other tapas places, but it's well worth it.

We also had the dessert which was simply amazing. If you go here, make sure you leave room for the dessert!

“Top Marks”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2014

One of the best meals I've ever eaten. Amazing tapas and dishes with a twist. We arrived late after and had to wait about 10 mins for a table but we'll worth the wait. Beautiful fresh food served in a lovely setting. Very friendly and attentive staff. Octopus and the oxtail where two main highlights along with the white bait that wasn't actually on the menu board. Not to sure about the small portions comment? Two of us left stuffed and spent €70 that was including a bottle of very pleasant house red. Wished we could have gone back another night but we will return next time we are in Barcelona. Well worth the 15min metro ride out of the city looked to be a nice area to visit during the day too. Couldn't fault anything and looking forward to returning!
