“Fun, clean, and convenient”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2014

Hostel is in a great location. Conveniently located near Plaza Catalunya, Arc de Triomf, and the Urquinaona metro station. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby and if you're fine with walking then the beach (Barceloneta), La Rambla, and Casa Batlló (Gaudi House) are very close by as well. The hostel was very spacious and clean. There is a comfortable lounge area with couches and a picnic table, a large kitchen area with everything you might need to cook or store food. Showers and bathrooms are large, clean, and work well. We stayed in a mixed 6-bed which was very spacious. Beds were comfortable with what seemed like semi-memory foam mattresses.In-room lockers were huge and could fit so much. We were lucky and had a giant open area near the back of the room with about four or five french windows. Views look out onto the street. Staff were SO nice and helpful. They even have a paella making class at the hostel. They go out on fun (free) excursions that you can tag along on. Definitely coming back here. Recommended this place to all my friends.

Room Tip: Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the rooms. Had friends stay in some of the other rooms...

Stayed here in a triple room with private bathroom. Nice spacious room with lockers, internet connection, some coffee as well as cereal included for breakfast, good air conditioner, conveniently located with easy access to Arc D Triomf, Las Ramblas, 20 minutes walk to the beach, 10 minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya for Airbus to airport, 10 minutes walk from Nord bus station, all other places are very accessible thru Metro. Supermarkets and convenients stores in the same block. The staff is very helpful with map/directions and other needs. Do not miss the free walking tour (based on tips) of Gaudi Buildings, that departs out of the reception, it is worthy the walk. I definitely recommed this place to stay in Barcelona for couple of days.

Stayed there for 5 nights in 6 bed dorm. Can't really complain about anything, beds are comfy, lockers are good size, showers and toilets are clean. Biggest advantage I would say is the modern kitchen, it is decent size and with all the necessary appliances so you can easily save some money by cooking there. There is a good music playing all day long which is cool. The only downside though is the breakfast.. it is said it is included but all you get is just a cereal and juice or tea/coffee. But I guess kitchen facilities make up for it and you can make your own breakfast there. Strongly advise. Good location as well.

stayed here for 2 nights for a stag do, very clean and modern with good facilities, good value, well situated. Air conditioning could have been better with 8 to a room but beds were comfortable and lockers were invaluable!

a bit noisy... in my opinion they should isolate better the rooms because some of them are close to common areas and it's is difficult to sleep properly there. In my case I could not sleep so although the hostel is quite ok I couldn't stay more than one night

Had a great stay here for 3 nights in an 8 dorm room. Kitchen is large and means you can keep the price down by cooking in. Lounge comfy and music playing which gives a cool vibe. Eaps of showers and toilets - never a wait time. Free brekkie too always a winner. Only complaint was having to pay 1 euro every time you open your own locker. Spent about 6 euros on locker fees!

I really liked this hostel. Bathrooms and showers were modern and clean. Staff were very helpful and actually wanted to help you. Other people staying in the hostel were really nice - everyone shared experiences and was very friendly. Well equipped kitchen with modern appliances. Rooms and lockers were more than big enough.

The only two negatives included the breakfast. For the price I paid it was cereal, milk, muesli, and juice. Could have been a few more things! Second was. the pub crawl which was €15, no shirt/bracelet and 'organiser' had no shirt or the like. First bar was empty although was worth it in the end as it included free entry to Opium.

I really had a good time here and would stay again for sure!
