very small place in a nice neighborhood, only locals and no tourists, we got there by chance and there's not much to do around but very friendly owner, great tapas, lovely evening with beer

We stopped here for lunch on spec and we're so glad we did. Modern, original, creative tapas. Beautifully presented, perfectly balanced flavours. Intimate, bright and airy bar. Friendly and spotlessly clean. All for 4.50 Euro per dish. Located in Gracia and just a short walk from Eixample district.
So good we popped back in the evening on the way to Con Gracia restaurant for pre-dinner cocktails which were also spot on. Highly recommended.

We found this a couple of days into our last stay in Barcelona, we were going to the metro station to head to where my old apartment was but we popped in for a beer, realised that we were hearing some Brit pop and started chatting with the owner. Heading up to the north east of the city soon went out of the window.

We went every evening after that - the owners are really lovely, the drinks are fantastic and the food is ideal - it's simple but perfectly done, sometimes with a twist. The cheese platter included a young goats cheese with honey which would have matched perfectly with more than one of the wines on offer.

There's a small but perfectly formed wine list including some local stunners, the beer selection is fantastic and includes a beautiful dark Moritz that was recommended when my other half was discussing beer and music with the owner, there's vermut on tap (ON TAP!!), a great selection of spirit and then the atmosphere and the fact it's really a neighbourhood place that's super affordable AND cool, not too often found in Barcelona.

Come to satisfy your thirst, stay for the music and chilled out atmosphere. It's my favourite place to drink in Barcelona and it will be the first place we go for a canya when we head back. Fins aviat!
