“Great Stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 January 2014

Loved the hotel. Conveniently located to Las Ramblas, restaurants and shops. The rooms are a good size, clean and modern. My kids loved having access to snacks all day. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is located in a narrow street in 2 minutes from La Rambla.
Unique place: friendly staff, comfortable room and a snack buffet free 24 hours a day.
The rooms are large and spacious. Our room was divided into two - the living room and bedroom. Very quiet.
Good housekeeping service - perfect staff!
Very nice roof terrace.
The only thing that upset me, it's no shower cap in the bathroom.
Recommend to everyone!

Modern, contemporary hotel conveniently located. Very friendly and accommodating guest service. I appreciated the gym and the "free" access to drinks, snackDefinitely will look at staying here again when we return to Barcelona.

I stayed with my 2 young daughters (9 and 6) in this hotel last October : it was a fantastic stay !
Of course, the springtime weather at that time of the year shed a particularly warm light on our vacation, but even without it would we have loved our trip and Casa Camper hotel.
It has everything we like about upscale hotels : perfect service, but in a cool, low-profile way.
The first time you enter the hotel and your room, you may wonder : why does it have such a great rating ? It's pretty bland, there's nothing breathtaking about it ! But then you stay a couple of days and understand : here, you feel just like home. It's not sophisticated luxury but simple impeccable comfort.
My top rating would go to the breakfast, which is absolutely fantastic : delicious fresh fruit, fresh cheese and hams, but on top of everything, the open kitchen where the cook prepares upon your order the best pancakes in the world (or of course your eggs any way you like them). The few minutes of waiting to receive your plate is certainly worth it, it is so subtle and tasteful. And nothing beats the "cooked in the pan just right for you".
The snack everybody raves about is ... a snack. Nice, but I don't understand why the beautiful balanced breakfast doesn't get more attention and mentions.
The fantastic thing at Casa Camper is how nice and helpful the staff is. A young team, always available to inform and help, and here also low-profile. Nothing stuffy, nothing formal. That's what we like. If you like traditional luxury, don't come here !

I was travelling alone with my 2 young children. Sleeping arrangements were : 2 people in the perfectly silent room with the beautiful bed, 1 person in the living room on the couch. That last person was me, and sleeping there was not as good : it's a couch, not a bed, and the living room is on the street, so quite noisy. I understand that my only other option was 2 book 2 rooms, which I couldn't afford. Just good to know if you're 3 travelling. Anyway, for nothing in the world do I regret staying at this hotel or sleeping as I did, this whole experience was just so great !!!

Last but not least : great location, you can walk into the old city.
Great recommendations from the staff for restaurants.

And Barcelona : my best European trip in the past 18 years !!!! Hurrah , can't wait to come again, nor can the kids who enjoyed every bit of it.

Casa Camper was probably the coolest hotel experience we've had. Its a very chic and modern hotel tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Las Ramblas but yet very accessible to everything. The open refreshment area is a very nice touch and makes it perfect for planning your itinerary around Barcelona. The staff were super friendly and helpful and really go out of their way to make your stay extra special - you can tell they are very passionate about their jobs!

The rooms were uber cool - the lounge is separate from the bedroom across the hall - so you could watch TV and read whilst the kids were sleeping across the hall - perfect for families with young kids!

The only comment about the room would be the Aircon - we found the room to be abit stuffy, but it seemed the AC was not working too well - its only a minor issue but otherwise our stay there was fantastic and we will definitely come back!

We stayed here on a weekend break and would thoroughly recommend the hotel. It is very central and was clean and well appointed, the services excellent and the staff were exceptional. They were all very helpful and we would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others.
