Wow! The Casa Camper is perfectly located just of the Ramblas and near the museum of contemporary art. It would be easy to walk to almost all the major sites and others are just a short metro journey away. The hotel itself is stylish, modern and spotless whilst maintaining quirky aspects such as hammocks in the lounge part of the bedroom and a stunning roof terrace. But none of this is as stunning as the little touches like 24 hour snacks and drinks (from great sandwiches and salads to popcorn and M&Ms), bicycles you can borrow that are lined up beautifully in the reception area, free WiFi, a computer and printer for printing your boarding pass before coming home. Then to top it all off the staff were AMAZING - helpful, friendly - nothing was too much trouble. We didn't use the gym so I haven't rated it but a bonus that there is one.

Room Tip: I didn't see other rooms but room 14 was stunning with a separate lounge area.

Trendy, friendly and charming hotel.

Location:
Just off Las Ramblas.
Very easy to access the metro to get to other stations and other parts of Barcelona.
Also very easily accessible to tourist spots on foot such as the Mercato, Las Ramblas and Placa de Catalunya.
Possible to walk to Casa Mila and Casa Battlo as well as Barcelonata.
The airport bus stops at Placa de Catalunya which makes it very easy to get to the hotel (if heavy luggage is not an issue).

Rooms:
Comfortable sized rooms with cool amenities.
Love the camper slippers (his and hers) provided.
Like the gardens. Bed was comfortable enough.
Think that the living area which is across from the corridor is fun with its brightly coloured hammock but really don't like that you have to cross the corridor (and potentially run into other people should you choose to wear your pyjamas) for it.
Noise level in the bedrooms were minimal.

Service:
Staff are chirpy and helpful. English is spoken reasonably well.
Some good recommendations from staff regarding places to eat.
(For Bar Lobo - have their honey fried aubergines and clams. Avoid ham croquettes)
Love the all day snacks and drinks bar whereby you can have the meals downstairs or bring it up to your room. Variety of snacks was really good - tofu salads, noodles, sandwiches, chocolate cake - all in small portions.
Alcoholic drinks are available but requires extra payment.
Reasonably good breakfast.
You can borrow their bicycles to explore Barcelona.

Value:
Very reasonable value considering the free breakfast, all day snacks and comfort of the rooms. Location is one of the best selling points.

A very nice base to explore Barcelona.

Would not hesitate to return.

Having found Casa Camper on TA, we booked and hoped for the best. We were absolutely not disappointed by this lovely hotel which is very well located.

Notably the all day snacks and drinks were great (included in the room rate) and the exceptional staff who were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It's a great choice for families too.

My girlfriend and i stayed for 3 nights at this wonderfull hotel. Located 2 min walk from the La Rambla and Playa de Catalunya. Lovely rooms and you will find a well equiped snackbar in the lobby (included in the room price). Great breakfast with the best pancakes and omelletes.
Best of all you will find the hotel staff very helpfull and always with a smile on their face.

We will surely pay this great hotel a visit again

Spent 5 nights here. It's a modern, stylish boutique hotel in a beautifully restored building just off La Rambla. Its a great location close to all the action and a top spot from which to explore the city. We stayed in one of the corner suites which was comfortable, very well equipped and spacious with bags of room (and importantly, room for bags!). From the bathroom we had a great view of the spectacular vertical garden that covers an entire external wall! We found the staff welcoming, helpful and very professional. Breakfast was OK but couldn't compete with the offerings at La Boqueria market just a short walk from the hotel, which is where we breakfasted most mornings. Would recommend to others and we would return, should we visit Barcelona again.

Room Tip: The corner suites are great with the combined sitting room and well worth the extra investment.

Found hotel on the net. Worried about location originally but got good, fast communication with the re eption about hangong dates, oming in and out at different times during one month and lea ing some 5 suitcases behind. Always prompt response and ery helpful.
Aswe got off the Silver Sea - silver whisper around the world cruise where we got spoiled rotten, it was we apprehension thar we found our hotel as the taxi we drove just one street off La Rambla, small and narow to find, amidst a school and bars but a beautiful , clean street.
Location is great , 2 min walk to Rambla and a sharp left for less than 2 min takes you to the tourist info and all the tour uses, metro et .
The hotel has a simple sophistication, very modern. The reception and other helpera are dress simply in black shirts, predominent colors are bla k and red all over the hotel.
The reception is so warm and welcoming. Right away 2 people had our luggage, they knew we were coming, new our names and took us to a very interesting room arrangement. After showing us the little, clean breakfast or snacks and softdrinks arrangement - all free of charge.
Then they took us In the hall way, where we found that our room, bathoom ( with a view and light coming from an internal garden), the wall with lots of pegs to hang coats, purses etc, plus a small efficient closet
The other practical discovery, On the other side of the hall way, with your key you get access to a private small living/family room like space, with a sofa and television and a table as a desk. One can be resting in the bedroom while the other one can be typing notes on tripadvisor!!!
I Highly recommend this hotel, location, price ratio and service quality.

Room Tip: All are good
