Stayed 3 nights at the end of October in this small, but comfortable hotel. The public rooms and bedrooms are basic and very clean. Also the staff were friendly and extremely helpful giving us advice about public transport. There is a wide choice of cafes and restaurants in the local area, and the nearest metro station is under 10 minutes walk away. A good base for exploring Barcelona. Will certainly stay there again when I am next in the city.

This is a v nice hotel. The reception staff are very friendly and the hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The room (a twin) was smallish but absolutely fine for our needs. The metro (Hospital Clinic) is a 5 min walk and then it's quick to get to all the main areas and sites. The roof top swimming pool and jacuzzi (on top of the adjoining Sunotel Aston, which is accesible via a basement corridor) were lovely after a hot day of sightseeing, with a great view out to the National Art Museum on Montjuic opposite. Breakfast was good if perhaps a touch expensive (€9 per person, but €1 cheaper than for those staying in the Aston!). All in all I would defo return to this hotel, it was a good base for exploring Barcelona and offered great value for money.

Stayed for 4 nights on our trip to Barcelona
Not the best of locations as still a 15min walk to local underground- hospital clinic.
Room was ok and bed made daily.
No working air conditioning and was Rather hot - window limited opening
Pool facility not ideal - very grubby and u have to travel through the basement to get to an adjoining hotel
We were on the 4th floor next to the lift - room 41! Keeping us awake all night with people coming and going!!!
Not bad but wouldn't go back again - budget hotel - very basic

Optimal hotel for 2-3 nights, at very good transport for any location in the city. Rooms are small, but tidy, small bathroom with shower, toiletries, tv not so good, reception not good, very few chanels. I did not have breakfast. Right next to hotel is Burger king, or a coffee shop with lots of pastries, sandwiches, very good coffee. 5 minutes walk to metro L5 and one stop Diagonal you can change for the centre.

Room tip: all the same

Minus: Cleaning lady was loud and woke us up every morning while cleaning neighbouring rooms. A/C doesnt work in the room and can be adjusted only by the receptionist for the whole flor. They turn it off/on every 2 hours, also at night. I dont like to sleep with the AC on, its not even healthy, but I had to do so for more than a week. For me, this is the biggest minus of this otherwise pleasant hotel.

Plus: The staff was really kind, always helpfull and the room was small, but clean and equipped with fresh shampoo and towels every day. Metro station is near, also some shops. To Pg. De Gracia is a pleasant walk.

Room tip: Try to stay away from the elevator, its a busy hotel with an old and loud elevator.
