We had 4 nights here early September. Barcelona is a wonderful lively city to visit. it was our first visit and we wanted to be able to walk to a lot of places in the centre of the city, but not stay in a busy /noisy place The location was great, central but quiet, the room was clean and well fitted out, the staff were helpful, the breakfast was good.

Room Tip: We asked for a quiet room, so a view over the internal courtyard, but as we were out all day every day, and most evenings, a quiet sleep was more important to us.

I stayed here with two friends for a long weekend. The hotel is a great location with some fab bars and restaurants nearby and only a short walk to the Ramblas. The rooms are clean and well decorated with free wifi. All the staff were very friendly and the evening concierge especially gave us some great restaurant recommendations. After an initial issue with our room not being quite what we booked this was quickly resolved and we really enjoyed our stay. If staying there don't forget to use the rooftop hot tubs! Fabulous with great views across the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful and genuine, and the room was clean and beautiful. Location is perfect for Gaudi's buildings plus walking into the centre of town. Breakfast room suffers from being on -1 with no natural light, but the food was very good. This is my 3rd hotel in same price bracket, and I consider it the one I will come back to.

Room Tip: When booking or checking in, ask for a room looking over the street, preferably high up so its quieter.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my sister. When we first checked in to the hotel and went to our room we were quite put off by the smell of cigarettes. We turned immediately around and went back to the front desk to inquire about a non-smoking room (we weren't asked a preference initially). The clerk apologized and switched out room quickly and efficiently. The new room was very nice- better than expected. Rooms can tend to be small in Europe so I was pretty happy with the size of this one. Petite, but very comfortable. There were a few stains on the carpet and the beds were a bit too firm for my personal preference, but all in all, very nice. The air conditioning was efficient and quiet, the bathroom was modern and nicely outfitted, and the free WiFi was fast and much appreciated. There were two small closets, one on each side of the bed, which were just the right size. The window was small, which made the room a bit dark, but it wasn't a big deal. The view outside the window was of the back of neighboring apartment buildings which I didn't mind at all and made for a quiet nights sleep. The breakfast buffet was decent- not great but much better than a continental breakfast. The hours for breakfast were very accommodating. The roof terrace was fantastic with 2 large hot tubs and a bar. You could see all the way to the sea as well as to Sagrada de Familia. Really beautiful. The location of the hotel was fantastic. Close to shopping, dining, and the metro. We walked everywhere. I would recommend his hotel and I would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask for non-smoking

This hotel is superb! Staff are friendly, hotel is clean, jacuzzi on the roof! What more do you want? When staying there we didnt have the breakfast they provided, we walked around the corner to a little cafe called El Fornet! Highly recommend staying here!
