The hotel is situated just a couple of blocks from the stunning Cathedral. When we checked in the staff were so helpful with maps etc, showing us the places to visit and the ones not worth visiting. The room and bathroom were really spacious and the mini bar prices were really reasonable. The buffet breakfasts was one of the best I have ever had with hot foods, hams, cheese, fruit, cereals, cakes, the list would be endless if I was to list everything available. So all in all and excellent hotel. We are planning to go back to Barcelona which is just so amazing and would definitely stay at the Sagrada Familia again.

Welcoming staff, adequate, modern rooms, short walk to Sagrada Familia, lovely breakfast with good choice of food. Excellent base for short stay in Barcelona. Close to Metro(El Clot). Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

A lovely hotel away from the noise but not a long walk. The swimming pool on the roof together with the excellent buffet breakfast are particular highlights for me. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and there is a small shop nearby where you can buy water and snacks. Near the hotel there are resturants offering everything from Tapas to full meals

The location is great as a base for your holiday, and it's in a quiet residential area. Quiet, comfortable, clean rooms. Helpful staff. Excellent value.

Minor niggles: the lifts are slow and wobbly and the hotel breakfast is unimpressive (but there are good cafes nearby).

Me & my partner stayed at the Sagrada Familia hotel for 4 nights at the end of April, when we arrived check in was very smooth and uncomplicated. Without having to ask the receptionist gave us fantastic recommendations for local restaurants and must see attractions, along with maps for the tour buses and a general map of the city. We then went up to our room which was situated on the 5th floor, lifts were very small with all our cases but we can live with that (as long as we didn't have to take the stairs). When we got to our room we were happy to see that it was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed including the much desired air con! We ditched our bags and headed straight out, we found that the hotel was in a fantastic location situated 2 blocks from the gorgeous Sagrada Familia, which became our pin-point on how to get back to the hotel. There is also a metro station right outside the Basilica so it is very easy to get to other areas of the city. Only a few grumbles about the hotel which were that we needed more pillows as the few that we had were almost flat and the other thing was that there was no bar within the hotel. Breakfast was basic but tasty and was clean & tidy every morning. We did venture up to the roof top terrace which is definitely worth a visit, there are some fantastic views from up there especially of the Sagrada Familia. Overall our stay was absolutely fantastic and will definitely be returning to this hotel!!

My son and I stayed here for 4 nights and after being a little disappointed to begin with, the hotel grew on us. The staff were very helpful and understanding and the location is outstanding. We enjoyed walking past the Sagrada Familia every day on our way to and from the metro station and after a bike ride to the beach (20 minutes or so to the mediterranean!). The rooms are a little dull and I would agree with another poster that the beds are not terribly comfortable but everything is spotless. We had the buffet breakfast a couple of times and it was fine. We ate locally once (Ya Ya Amelia), and walked back from Gracia where we had dinner another day, but all areas of the city are very accessible. We managed to leave our raincoats behind hanging up in the closet, so it is probably a sign we will be back!
