Stayed here and can highly recommend this hotel and the location couldn't be better.

The room was a good size and the bathroom was very large, all areas of the hotel were extremely clean.

The reception staff were very helpful and could assist with anything.

The pool was more a cold paddling pool and the sunbathing area very crowded - but a great idea nonetheless.

The surrounding area is very noisy all night, but this goes for all areas not just this one.

Didn't have breakfast as seemed overpriced - however, the pastry/sandwich/cake shop across the road has everything and very cheap.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Really nice, clean and cosy hotel with good breakfast in an amazing neighbourhood. Close to many good restaurants and in the middle of artistic El Born next to a lot of inspiring shops. Would go again on a next trip for sure!

Location wise this hotel is perfect. Rooms are small and cramped, especially for 2 adults and a child. Staff is friendly and helpful. A pool bar or equivalent would put this review at 4 stars.

The rooms are far from sound proof, which our neighbours "night activities" reminded us every night :-)

Stayed here with a group of friends. great location - in the old, narrow cobbled streets. Clean simple lines - modern/contemporary design. Rooms are quite quirky as the whole building is a bit of a triangle on plan. Linen, beds, facilities all very good, comfortable standard - not over the top lavish - but did the job and looked smart. Great detail - they had fridges of bottled water to help yourself to on all the floors. Good aircon in the rooms, as well as black-out curtains on the windows. Really excellent shower.

In terms of size - the room quite snug - so there was a small table to write postcards etc. - these are compact and bijou rooms - if you've got a yoga routine you'd need to go out into the corridor!

Fraid we never made it up to the rooftop terrace - so can't comment. This part of Barcelona is great with the traditional close set, narrow streets, small tapas bar approx. 50m away as well as local shops ( Coop type ) as well as quite a lot of tat souvenirs as well though.

Excellent customer service - reception staff all spoke English easily to help or embarrassingly bad Spanish, and very helpful - e.g. allowing me to charge up my mobile phone at reception as I'd forgotten a charger. 2 nights for 2 sharing a twin room was £270, so seemed a good deal for the standard of accommodation in central Barcelona. The rooms were possibly 'better' than we really needed for our Stag group, but if you're taking partner away then these are great ( simple modern on a budget ) - and you could 'raise' or 'lower' the holiday depending on where you go to eat ( hope that makes sense ). Breakfast was continental style ( you have to order it as an extra ) but provided via an internal door to the adjoining restaurant. Reasonably good variety of fruits, croissant, some meat / cheese, good coffee.

They had a store room to leave bags if you wanted to out after checkout - so if you've some extra time before your flight you don't have to lug your bags around - sure most hotels offer this sort of facility.

I'd happily go there to stay again - really good base to enjoy Barcelona.

Room Tip: In our group, some of our rooms were a fair bit larger than others - so worth asking when you book i...

The hotel rooms are clean and modern looking. Free waterbottles on all floors (so great!). The hotel's got a small, but very nice, roof terrace with a pool and shower to cool down in.

Only minus: our neighboors were smoking in their room, so the tobacco smell came through the AC in our room the last three days... None of our other travelling companions experienced the same though.

Walking distance to La Rambla etc. The nearby area (El Born) has a lot of great restaurants, and a bar called "Creps al Born", with very good music and clever bartenders – SO worth a visit!

My boyfriend, our best friend and I accidentally booked a hotel room at what must be the best location in Barcelona. I love Born, and the view from the French balcony was gorgeous! The staff was always helpful, and the endless, free supply of cold water from a fridge in the corridor saved me my usual late-night excursions in search of water. We bought and printed museum tickets and boarding cards at the free computers on the 1st floor, and we never waited more than a couple of minutes for a taxi. The room was spacious, clean and with a wonderful bathroom. On the other side, the wifi was erratic, and there was a distinct smell of sewers from the AC, so we had to sleep on top of our covers with the windows open. We reported this twice without ever getting any feedback, hence one star short of perfect.

We booked this hotel on a recommendation from family and they weren't wrong! Fantastic hotel - our room was clean and spacious, enough room for myself and my sister to get ready for a night out. The staff were all very helpful and polite. The beach is a 10 minute walk away and there are plenty of lovely cafés and bars close by. Our room looked out over the Main Street (we requested this on our booking) and I am glad we did we had a beautiful little balcony to stand out on. There was very little noise from the street but if you like a lie in bring an eye mask! Thank you to all at the hotel.
