If you want a great place to stay in Barcelona any of the 6 hotels in this chain are the perfect place to stay !!! they are so funky , well appointed , clean and have some serious chill out zones on the roof !! breakfast is basic but its the only minus . Will definately be going back !!

Just returned from a 4 day break with a group of friends. We booked a terrace room which was spacious, light and well worth the extra money, our friends had nice rooms too but ours was the best. We didn't opt for breakfast as we knew we wouldn't be awake in time but there are some lovely gourmet pastry shops within a few doors. Location worked well for us, but if you want to be more central than hotel jazz in the same chain would be good too. Roof terrace is lovely and all of the staff were so helpful. We'll definitely return if we're in Barcelona again.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for a terrace room

Chose the hotel after reviewing TA, and did not regret. It took us 20 mins from Airport (EUR 5.65 per single ride) with Aerobus to Gran Via - Urgell stop which is the closest to the hotel. Another 5 mins walk across the street further down to Soho hotel.

Checking-in was smooth but the room was not ready (we arrived around 11) but could do a little wash-up at the basement WC which was a plus. We liked the scent in the hotel and though the hotel is bit dim but we did not mind at all.

We took the most standard room which was good - comfy bed, TV (though not many English channels), open concept bathroom (not suitable for non-couples). Note water is not provided and it's EUR 2 per small bottle. Bathroom again is bit dark but we did not mind as well. WIFI free both in the lobby and room password will be given during check-in. We did not check out the terrace / pool at all but bet it's lovely up there.

The location of the hotel is very good, merely 2 mins walk to the closest subway station, Urgell (Red line) or 10 mins walk to Plaza Catalunya. Along the way there are some shops to check out, but we took the subway most of the time (purchased T10 subway card which actually the same card could be used for multiple users). Next to the hotel a cafe - Guitto where we always had a ham sandwich and coffee for EUR 2.50 per person (menu price varies for sitting in the cafe or at the terrace!)

From hotel to Airport by Aerobus we had to go to a different stop than the one we arrived, but it's also around 5 mins walk 2 blocks away, the stop: Sepulveda - Urgell, around 25mins to Airport from here, bus was almost full when we boarded so note during peak hours may need to wait for another round. Take A1 Aerobus to T1 Terminal or A2 Aerobus to T2 Terminal, A1 or A2 is indicated clearly top front bus.

Overall we had a very pleasent stay and would definitely recommned it!

Room Tip: Standard Room no balcony

This hotel is very modern... the rooms are clean, and the location is wonderful. There are only about 50 rooms in the hotel so its very quiet. I never heard any noise at all from the hallways and minimal noise from the street. The beds were decent, as was the shower. Its a nice 10 minute walk to the city center area, and the neighbourhood that the hotel is in seemed nice and safe. If I ever have the chance to return to Barcelona, I would book the hotel again for sure!

Room Tip: We overlooked the main road, which wasn't too noisy, but I heard the rooms at the back of the building were quieter.

We stayed here for the Grand Prix weekend in May. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, a huge bed and interesting mood lighting. The rooftop terrace was beautiful, shame we didn't get much time to spend up there. Good location, not too busy but within walking distance of most things. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. My only criticism would be that the mood lighting made it difficult to see in the mirror properly to put make-up on. Loved it otherwise.
