“Great for Family”
Reviewed 19 October 2013

I think it's sort of a value deal. Good infrastructure (such as big swimming pool, spacious room, shower and toilet), great location, great access to local restaurants, sightseeing points, museum etc. However, I was somewhat disappointed with staff who delivers no service. Funny there was no service, but I wasn't feeling uncomfortable at all. Surprisingly I'd come back and stay here as this hotel offers great price for spacious room plus great location. Breakfast was a disaster, and cocktail was horrid. Don't expect good quality of food in this hotel. However great restaurants are all around the hotel. Great for family as swimming pool was quite okay for kids, but if you are a couple and gay, you'd be bored.

I had recently stayed in this hotel and the service and hotel does not meet a 4 star quality. I believe it to be a 3 star hotel instead, The worst 4 star hotel I ever stayed. The beds were not comfortable at all, when I sleep on it, I can feel the springs. The concierge, instead of assisting me with my luggage, she told me to do it on my own. I would never stay at this hotel ever again. T

Liked the hotel with a very good location, kind staff, tidy rooms (some with bath and some with shower so make sure you ask what you prefer) was only there for 1 night so pretty straight foreword
Only thing I was surprised is that they didn't have and couldn't provide an iron, be prepared and make sure your cloths are ironed ;)

I have just returned from a three day break with a group of friends, this hotel was in a very central postion that provided the opportunity to experience Barcelona at its best.

The hotel was clean and very tidy. We had a room on the third floor overlooking the main street with a small balcony. Due to efficent glazing no traffic noise heard. Air conditioning was very effective with low setting for sleeping. Hotel permits room retention until 1pm ideal if you have a later flight & need to change prior to departure.

I would recommend the breakfast, there is a very large selection to choose from catering for all. If you have the opportunity take a late breakfast as the restaurant can be quite busy if conference delegates are staying who have departed by 9.15am.

Transport:- At the airport purchase a T10 ticket ( approx. 9 Euros ) this permits 10 transport journeys on the rail line, underground, buses and trams. As you go through the barrier the number of remaining journeys appears. By rail & underground you can get to the hotel, however there is quite a lot of walking involved. Also depending which terminal you arrive at you may have to catch the free internal airport coach shuttle service.

The best option is to take the Airport Shuttle Coach ( 6 Euros) that arrive every 5 mins. The coaches takes about 25 mins to arrive at the central square where it is a five minute walk to the hotel which involves a level walk without steps.

You are close to the central square where the two bus tours operate from. You can purchase a 2 day ticket & hop on & off at any time. If you intend to take the tour bus do not purchase the T10 travel card.

The hotel will provide you with a city map, and excellent travel advice. Mention is often made of the pickpockets we were a group of 8 who often separated and fortunately did not encounter any problems but remain vigilant. The hotel rooms have individual safes which are of great benefit.

Should I return to Barcelona I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

This is by far one of my worst experiences in hotels ever!! Bad rooms and they were not very clean. I found several bugs in the room. Even the curtains were damaged and dirty. The hotel doesn't have its own in room dining service. They place a menu of a another restaurant and the food verity is very limited. The hotel staff are very serious and not friendly at all. Even when I asked for slippers they said that I have to pay for it! They gave it for me for free when I argued with them. I don't think it deserves 4 star rating. Ig should not exceed 3 ... The only good thing about the hotel is the location...

Nice hotel, clean and quiet. Location is 2nd to none! Shopper's paradise, literally walk out the door of the hotel and you're in the middle of it all.

Starbucks is across the road which is really handy for breakfast. We opted not to have the pricey hotel breakfast so it was really handy to have Starbucks nearby.

Lovely hotel, excellent location in the centre of Barcelona. Very clean, rooms are huge, spacious, staff are very friendly and helpful. Not enough loungers at pool, often had to sit on the deck with no lounger, but lovely hotel overall. Plenty of space for suitcases and clothes, would highly recommend.
