“A touch of Gaudi”
Reviewed 7 November 2013

Wonderful stay at the b&b. We got a room in Ferran's home in a modernistic Building with lots of typical Gaudi finishing. The room was provided with a large bed and a very nice table, sofa and big television. The room was very clean and decorated in Spanish style with lots of colour. The b&b is located in a wonderful central location, very close to everything you need to see when in Barcelona - all the attractions (Rambla, casa Mila, casa Batlló, Palau de la Musica, etc.). Ferran was always very kind and available to suggest places to visit or for lunch/dinner. In our opinion, the price was very fair, cheaper than hotel with same standard. We had a wonderful vacation and would recommend this place in a second.

My boyfriend and I just stayed at this wonderful B&B in the midst of this charming big city. The place is very comfortable and homey with lots of detail on the decoration part. Our room was one of the smaller ones on the sixth floor sharing a bathroom, but this was no problem at all. In fact, I don't think we would have changed it if we had the chance. It was quiet and we could see the Tibidabo church litten on top of the Mountains at night. It was very romantic.
The customer service was fantastic; they went out of their way to help us with directions, etc. They had a good breakfast and it was fun to talk to the other guests during breakfast. We would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Room Tip: We were much happy staying at 6th floor in one of the three smaller rooms of the B&B. It was nic...

The location is very good. Only 5 minutes from the old town and also 5 min walk from the famous las Ramblas. There are many cafes and restaurants near Barcino.
I was so impressed by the decoration of the place. It made me feel like a queen coming home every day to such a beautiful home. The Whole appartment always smells good and there is nice classic music in the hallway. I would recommend it in a second.

Room Tip: All rooms seems to be quite nice and spacious with little or no noise at all.

Staying at this B&B was an amazing experience. My partner and I have been to many places in the world, and this experience has been one of the best. The B&B has an excellent location, right next to the Rambla and main shopping area with Gaudi Buildings, surrounded by bars and restaurants. If you only decide to walk around this area you will see more of Barcelona than most guides tell you. Te owner Ferran was fantastic and very helpful. He made us feel at home. The rooms were very spacious, elegantly decorated with a great view. We will definitely come back!

Room Tip: The Sitges room was an excellent choice

The welcoming was really warm and friendly. Ferran told us everything there is to know when visiting this fantastic city in few days. He told us where to go and what to be aware about when walking around the streets. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious with an excellent bathroom. Breakfast couldn't have been better, and there were great supplies in the fridge. The location is brilliant - easy walking distance to all the main sites. The place, Ferran and his staff made our vacation unforgettable. Thank you! Michelle & Otto

My friend and I stayed at Barcino 147 in October for 5 nights. Antonio picked us up at the Airport and gave us a very informative ride. Letitia, Fernand and Antonio couldn't have been more helpful with ideas on dining, places to go and tourist attractions and instructions on how to get there. Letitia was readily available and willing to help at all times (a real find Fernand). This B &B is centrally located and just a few minutes walk to everything, clean and beautifully furnished, breakfast is more than sufficient and the Kitchen available all day for coffee. It would have been nice to have our own Bathroom but this wasn't available at the time we booked, small price to pay for such wonderful service. All rooms are not the same so if bathroom facilities are important you need to request this when booking. Thank you for a wonderful stay, definitely a home away from home, Judy and Daphne from NZ.
