Good hotel if you are planning a trip to Barcelona. Nice helpfull staff, great breakfast and tidy rooms. It is situated in the centre, near La Rambla. Take the A1/A2 bus to Pl. Catalunya, from there it is a small walk.

Thank Jim L

I recently stayed in this hotel for the weekend with my partner at the end of June. I really don't know why this hotel only has 2* - it is much better than the majority of 3* hotels I have stayed in. The value for price is great!! It is situated down a side road which is quite daunting at first, but once you explore you will realise that the location is fantastic for accessing most places such as La Ramblas, or a 10 minute stroll to the Harbour. We stayed in the mini double room, which granted was rather small but perfectly clean and had all the amenities you would expect. Downstairs in the hotel was a lounge area with a TV, Coffee making facilities, access to snacks, etc. The staff were fantastic and really helpful in suggesting places to visit and eat out, spoke perfect English.I would 100% stay in this hotel again.

Very nice hotel- The concierge greeted us with a bottle of water (which we very much needed)- The rooms were neatly organized and the look of the hotel is very young and fresh. We booked the mini-room & it was a little tight for a couple but other than that great place to stay. Recommended.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in June 2014. As stated by some of the other reviewers, the hotel is very clean on the inside and the rooms are a reasonable size for Europe. This hotel's greatest asset is its excellent, helpful staff with very good customer service skills.

In addition to staff who all spoke excellent English and were very friendly, the staff displayed good problem solving skills. Our first night was not the best. We were in a 5th floor room which overlooks a square which contains bars, skaters and kids setting off fireworks. Consequently, it was quite noisy and was difficult to sleep until 1 or 2am as everybody stayed out quite late. We brought this problem to the attention of the overnight person, who listened to our concerns and offered to change our rooms in the morning (hotel was booked out for grand prix). The next morning, we had to speak to another attendant however the two ladies were again very helpful, showed us three rooms and let us pick our favourite. The change of rooms was to the bottom floor, where the room had a big wall that blocked out sound which fixed the problem.

It is unfortunate that I couldn't rate this hotel above average. Customer service is very important in my criteria, however there were a few small things which prevent the hotel itself being a better than average one. Requiring the right room, paying for storage lockers for luggage while waiting for check in, only average breakfast and being in an area that was not the nicest in Barcelona are a few of these. Also, when compared to the other European hotels we stayed which had an English language entertainment station, this hotel didn't (it had an English news network though). While small, you don't really travel across the world to watch TVs, it was nice in the other hotels for an hour or so's downtime.

The above shouldn't be a list of complete negatives; they were all just little things which mean I though the hotel was average; yet the stay was mostly positive. The hotel is clean, is central, has good wi-fi, is well run and good value for money.

My girlfriend and I stayed here last weekend while attending the MotoGP in nearby Montmelo. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and the hotel sent a taxi to the airport for us which was great and the driver duly brought us direct to the hotel in about 25 minutes. It cost about €25 and at that hour of the morning it was very welcome.
We were allocated room 506 and were a bit shocked at how small and basic the room was, there was literally only room for the bed and not much else. We were so tired that we didn't say anything but the next morning we went to reception and asked to be moved. The girl at reception was very helpful and was able to arrange a move to the fourth floor to 407 and this was much more in keeping with what we felt we had paid for. The rooms are very basic, bed, chair, desk, 26 inch tv, wardrobe etc and a basic bathroom with a shower. Not much room in there! But it is all very clean. There is no kettle or iron but you do get a hairdryer.
As I said the hotel is very clean and the staff (particularly Marc) were really nice and very helpful, they were definitely the best thing about the hotel.
The Hotel itself is located on a street which is almost like a side street and is very busy with locals going to and fro, a large number of ethnic grocery shops. A number of reviewers have complained about the area and it is littered with graffiti and at night very busy but we did not experience any problems but it is located in the Raval. La Rambla is only about a 5 minute walk away though. One other thing is that the hotel is probably the loudest one I have ever stayed in. Even with the wondows closed there is so much noise coming from the street and I don't know what the cleaning staff were doing in the early hours of the morning but they were so loud you could not sleep so that was a big problem.
The hotel is very central and very clean, not overly pricey and the staff are wonderful. the area is not the best as it is the Raval but the location is good for exploring and very close to the Metro stop at Universitat so access to everywhere is pretty good.
All in all it is a basic

Room Tip: Ask for a proper double sized room as the room we stayed in the first night was miniscule. I'm n...

Overall we had a very nice stay. The hotel is located in the centre and near to metro stations. The room was basic, but comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and willing to help with whatever.

Stayed here May 2014. Was very impressed with all aspects of the hotel. On arrival Marc at Reception was very welcoming and knowledgeable with regards to helping us with our surroundings. Our room was on the 4th floor and was clean/quiet - just what we needed. Bed was comfy and shower was powerfull.

The location is perfect - 10 mins walk to la ramblas. as a 19 year old girl i didn't feel intimidated in the local area at all. In fact we spent an evening in the bar 'Tahiki' opposite the hotel one evening - friendly staff & great drinks. If i return to Barcelona i would stay here again. Also would recommed to anyone wanting to visit with a budget.
