I needed a place to stay 5 nights in Barcelona booking one day in advance.
I found what I was looking for: clean room, clean bathroom, kind and professional people, aircon as it was very hot and secure place without spending a good price.

Thank you very much.

Single room,tv,wifi; toilet + shower ..everithing was perfect, clean , nice owners. Stayed there 3 nights..only disadvantage was that noeone speaks english and it's close to rush crossroad. Downstars is small restaurant and it about 10mins to metro stop Glories and 10mins to sagrada familia. .didnt expect much but was pleasent suprised.

I booked "single room with common bath on hallway" as it was the most economic place around. The price was at 40% of the next hotels. This place is more of a big apartment and has about 8 rooms.

It is definately less a hotel than rather a "hostel" as it is written on the the outside. And as such a place, the rooms are the first level above "bed in common dormitory of 10". You must be aware of that, then you feel fine.

The bathroom and the room was very clean. The sheets where very clean. The pillow itself had an odd smell.

Depending on the person at the counter, sometimes the persons do speak English and sometimes not.

You must buzz the door and then they let you in. It worked fine, as well late at night/early in the morning.

I didn't feel annoyed by the street in front ot the building, although it has plenty of traffic and noise. There is a bar in the ground level of this house, where you can have a coffee in the morning.

As mentioned: Just a "no frills place" to spend some nights in beetween days "out in the city". I didn't want to stay longer then necessary, but slept well. WLan worked fine.
