For my wife and me It was a very excellent experience. Hotel is located close to Catedral and it's easy to reach all the interesting sites of Barcelona by walking or metro. the staff is friendly, smiling, helpful in solving various reservations for museums, tours and tips. Particular not secondary is that they speak Italian. In particular we would like to greet Xavi and David for their courtesy. The breackfast isn't so cheap if you don't stay for more days but it's on a good level. A remark has to be made on the room cabinet: simply doesn't exist but is substituted by a metallic structure that is not sufficient for a 7 days stay. Apart this the rest was ok. Greetings from Roma

Great value for money, great location (really central), staff are super helpful. Didn't opt for breakfast as so many places to choose from in the city. Lots of bars & restaurants on the same street & 2min walk to La Ramblas. Rooms are spotless. Would come back & recommend in a heartbeat...perfect for a short city break.

I was torn between a four and five star for this hotel and am probably being my usual mean self in only giving 4 stars. There were a lot of positives - (i) it is very reasonably priced; (ii) it is very centrally located just a few minutes from La Rambla and a choice of two Metros and yet felt very safe; (iii) the rooms were clean and comfortable; (iv) the staff were very helpful; (v) the buffet breakfast was very good and provided a great start to the day; (vi) there is an excellent bakery right next door and a supermarket opposite. Okay then why 4 star and not 5 - (i) the rooms were on the small size; (ii) there were no in room tea and coffee facilities (but there was a coffee machine on the ground floor); (iii) the sound proofing was not great and I was awoken on two nights by a person returning to their room late at night; (iv) the room we had was internal with no outside window/light; the second room my daughters had had a external window but there was then noise from the street!!. Overall though we had a great stay; if I was in Barcelona again I would definitely stay here again and would be happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, centrally located, comfortable hotel.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your comments, no doubt, they will help us to improve our service. We regret that the outside noise will disturb on occasion, we are studying some improvement that can, more effectively, cancel outside noise. We are also pleased that this drawback does not make you hesitate to go back again and stay at our hotel, we are eager to see you again.

thanks again

Con's - the room smelt of sewage, very hot, no Windows/fresh air and the hotel only lets you use the air conditioning when they think it's hot! Hair dryer didn't work. The switch for the room lights and bedside lamp were behind your sleeping pillow so I kept knocking the lights on during the night. You could hear everyone's movements in the corridors. No complimentary refreshments in the room

Pro's - rooms where clean, shower worked beautifully, bed was comfortable, TV worked with acceptable picture quality, great location, good selection for breakfast and interesting decor.

Visited here with a group of friend on a city break for a few days. This hotel is ideally located close by to the heart of the city for tourists and is easy accessible. There are lots of pluses like free WiFi, roof terrace and gym, although we didn't use any of them. As with the hotel, rooms have a modern and simple feel, with facilities including safety box and bar fridge. My criticisms would be that my room had no Windows or source of natural light, and witith no air conditioning or fans available there was no way to control the temperature in my stuffy room. Elsewhere the bed wasn't luxurious and really hard, so didn't give a good night's sleep. Hence why it only scored a three from me.

We recently went to Barcelona for a 4 day trip.
We had a fantastic time and the hotel was brilliant. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. They constantly recommended places for us to visit and were just very nice and helpful. Their level of English was incredible too.
The hotel itself is in a brilliant location. 30euros in a taxi from the airport or take the Aerobus which is 6 euros per person (recommended to us by the hotel). It is situation on one of the streets just off La Rambla, about 15 minute walk from the harbour and about 30 minute walk from the beach.
The hotel was spotless, the cleaning service happened everyday and they replaced all the goodies on a daily basis.
The ONLY downside is that the rooms are quite small and the walls clearly aren't very thick as we could hear our noisy neighbours.
Overall, we had a brilliant time. Barcelona is very expensive so we wont be going back in a hurry but if we were to, we would most definitely be staying at that hotel again.

Just spent a great weekend in Barcelona on a stag weekend and going to a Barcelona football game. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is a great position just off Las Ramblas with many bars and restaurants nearby. It’s a short walk to the harbour and you can continue round to the beach which was a nice walk. Had a trip on the cable car which gave nice views of the city.
The hotel is modern and the rooms were very nice and comfortable. We had one with a balcony that over looked the street which was nice although some of the party had rooms with no windows which some may not like. There was a lovely rooftop pool and hot tub although the weather was a bit too cold to enjoy it. Most guests I saw were couples or groups but it was very peaceful and quiet. I presume in the summer it may be a bit livelier due to the great location!!
The breakfast was very nice and lots of options. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again.
We bought a tube pass for 20 Euros which was great value and very clean and nice metro system.
Although a great city and I would recommend it to anyone a word of warning; of our party of 15 one was pick pocketed but managed to realise and get his money and wallet back after a scuffle and another had their phone snatched and the thief ran off. These incidents were late at night and my mate who had is phone stolen had gone off on his own. It wouldn’t put me off going again but I saw more Police in 3 days there than I see in a month in England yet they do not seem to be able to stop this type of crime. I would definitely recommend sticking together in groups and refrain from using your phone in the street in Las Ramblas at night.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with balcolny or window if you don't want an internal room with no window.
