To be clear' this is not a bar for heavy drinking, dancing, watching football or chatting people up. It is for drinking very nice drinks in very comfortable chairs in a low lit and fascinating environment with extremely friendly staff.
I have no idea how there could be so many quirky chandeliers and lamps giving off so little light, but the sensation is similar to the dark wood, centuries old bars in Dublin, black and white pictures, candles and wood carvings crammed into every alcove.
This place is as much a bolt-hole from the world as it is a bar.
Note: practically impossible to find, the door is to the left of the Egyptian museum entrance and designed for a hobbit.
