We have been to,Salero several times and it never disappoints! The food is very tasty and of good quality. The also have a good wine card. Both food and wine are very reasonably priced. I can also recommend to stay after dinner and hang around at the bar, they have a good choice of liquors. We'll go again during our next Barcelona trip.

Eaten here three times over the last 2/3 years with friends. Modern, funky ambiance frequented mainly by locals. Fusion Asian/Catalan food works surprisingly well with high quality ingredients and careful spicing (not excessive). Reasonable prices. Service okish (N.B. never generally a plus point for Barcelona restaurants!).

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at El Salero. The staff was friendly, and it seemed that the restaurant was filled with locals, which was really nice. The variety of food was a welcome change of pace from the tapas bars. El Salero offers a mix of Asian and Catalan food, with some Mediterranean thrown in too. We really loved the Calamari with Yuzu and noodles. Also thought the eggplant caviar and hummous was tasty. Desserts looked fantastic, but we didn't have room to try them!

Central location, but thanks to a 20 meters offset from the main street - not a tourists trap at all. Not too expansive and yet quite gourmet. Recommended if you're near by.

This resto was ok....It has a nice vibe, you feel like you're dining with locals. The food is good, not amazing - some asian, some italian, some spanish. The waiters were a little rude to start off with and then warmed up a little....this place is average. If you're only in Barcelona for a few days you could easily give this a miss.
