I stayed in this apartment with my 15 year old son for 4 days in April. It was located in a central but not overly busy area right next to a lovely covered food hall and fruit, veg and flower market, also a convenience store just opposite. This was great if you wanted to use the extensive kitchen, very well kitted out with everything you would need. We chose to breakfast only and eat out there are many different types of restaurant all within 10-15 minutes walk. We were able to walk to all the attractions within the hour and we packed everything in, in the four days we had. The apartment was spacious and modern, the traffic a bit noisy but you are in the middle of a city so that would be expected. We were on the fourth floor and the lift was a great relief after a day of walking around. Double key entry to the block and then your apartment door so very secure. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who likes to do their own walkabout and would stay here again if staying in Barcelona in the future.
