Whereas the tapas in Madrid were to die for, I was singularly disappointed with them in Barcelona. The ones served at Tapa Tapa, hoghly recommended to me, were really nothing more than fried hors d'oeuvre or full of mayonnaise. The service was poor and the restaurant had the feel of a fast food cafeteria place. I would not bother recommend it!

The one on Passeig de Gracia is convenient.
Its a no-brainer when kids are tired and you would like a satisfying array of tapas.
It accomodated all 8 of us in the family (stroller and all) and the service was good.
There is quite a variety to choose from and their basic staples are delicious.
We ordered more dishes on top of the ones ordered and they came quite fast too.
I have to commend the seafood tapas as they were very fresh and full of flavour.
Although a chain restaurant, one does walk out feeling that they have had a taste of Spain.

Stopped by while walking from our hotel to the gothic area.

Service was poor, took ages for someone to give us a menu. They looked pretty understaffed.

We ordered chicken skewers, tuna skewers, and seafood skewers all which were overcooked. Chicken and Tuna was also pretty tasteless. Calamari dish was quite good and Bravas were also good.

When trying to request the bill, took ages to call a waitress, and then ages for her to bring it to us. Overall, we would definately not be back

Can't fault the food or service here for the price - great value and tasty. It is definitely more of a tourist place than for the locals but all the same it was a great visit. We ate there twice during our week long stay.

We stopped by to after a long day walk. Got a patch of sangria and several small plates. Service is good and food was okay - better than what we had in the US, but not as amazed as many other tapa places in Barcelona.
