This is my second time at Semproniana. In my opinion is the best catalan-cuisine restaurant in Barcelona. The "pasta fresca amb verdures i llagostins" is really tasty and perfectly balanced, a crispy oven cooked pasta on the bottom and two tasty shrimps on top with some sweet salt on it.
Then we had the "llauna de salmo'" and the "llauna de pop a feira", the first one is a sardines can filled with chopped smoked salmon with some dill foam, the second one is a really soft and tasty octopus with potatoes. The duck magret was delicios too. For dinner we had the delirium tremens, a chocolate brownie covered with hot chocolate. Superb.
The place is very original, like a bohemian library. Tables are at a right distance one from the other one, so it's perfect for a romantic dinner. The idea of offering every dish in 3 sizes is indeed a very good one.
Will come back again for sure.
