A friend and I decided to dine here while in Barcelona. We enjoy fine dining and are always selective of where we dine to ensure every meal is an experience. The restaurant is elite and if you are looking for a quiet evening out or wanting to close a high end business deal with fantastic service and food, this is certainly the place to dine. Our waiter was very helpful and ensured that we knew what wines to have with our food. We decided to have the Potted Iberian roasted suckling pig for our main, I was blown away by the dish and certainly recommend it for anyone even if you do not enjoy pork. This sensational flavors in this dish certainly changed my mind about pork. Beans and peas stewed with onion and black sausage was a great starter as was the chicken cannelloni with truffle sauce. The waiter was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant has been operational for 33 years and is probably one of the most popular restaurants for true Catalan food. The menus were designed by Antoni Tàpies and the restaurant is frequented by world class chefs. When you are there ask your waiter to show you the wine collection as this is certainly a treat. I will return upon my next visit to Barcelona. Thanks for the fantastic experience!
