Away from the constant swell of people on the Ramblas south of Pla Catalunya this hotel is convenient placed close to metro Diagonal on the Rmbla de Catalunya (~10 mins walk). Very convenientty placed for the Manzana de Discordia, Casa Batló, La Pedrera, Sagarda Familia, Tapiés museum, and also the less well known but highly recommended Fundacio Godia (Carrer Disputacio). Francesco on the front desk was very helpful and knowledgable; if you require suggestions for things to do he is your man. Rooms are large and comfortable and bathrooms are well designed, clean, and showers have a good strong jet. We ate in the restaturant ajoining the hotel one evening and were pleasantly suprised by the food quality. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely little hotel to stay in, very efficient and friendly staff. Was very easy to get there from the airport as the Aerobus took us directly to Playa Catalunya, a 15m walk away from the hotel.
Well located to get to the famous La Rambla yet was far enough away to escape the razzmatazz that continues long into the night there! The staff were great in organising the hire of a scooter to use and in helping us book seats for a Flamenco performance. Lots of little tapas bars along the street and sangria galore everywhere, once again the receptionists were great when it came to little tips about the best places and things not to miss. A little negative was the servicing of the room, they seemed to always do it when we indulged in some siesta time a la' the locals!
Would certainly go back there again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony looking onto Rambla Catalunya

Stayed for a day.
Boutique hotel in a very upmarket street. Great bar and the rooms were very comfy with clean showers. Step out of the hotel and there are restaurants everywhere.
The service deserves a special mention. They were efficient and fantastic.

Go for it.

We stayed in one of the apartments as a family of four for two nights. Terrific. Really worked for us. Had two bedrooms (queen and two singles) plus dining area, sitting room, kitchen (with laundry) and a great balcony. The apartment was spacious, clean and chic. Intranet was an additional cost . Service and staff were great. The location is great. It is a relatively long walk to the Rambla and Barri Gotic, but the walk is doable. The trade-off for the long walk to the very touristy areas is that you are not staying in the very touristy areas. You are staying in the well-to-do boutique area. It worked for us. We would definitely stay at the Murmuri again. First rate boutique hotel.

Room Tip: Apartment was great.

Location:on rambla catalunya surrounded by shops and restaurants and cafes (go for taller the tapas, a 5 min walk from the hotel)
Room: clean chic in black and white. If u booked a privileged room make sure u get a king size bed instead of two single beds. Bad amenities causing allergies, unfortunately Molton brown seemed to be a victim of cost cutting.
Bar:friendly but slow service, rather expensive compared to other bars in the area
Service/front desk:ask Francesco for a restaurant recommendation if u are looking for seafood or Catalan cuisine.
