What an awesome position, sensational retro house and a great host! Reyes was fantastic...she even gave us a bottle of Cava to welcome us in, which was wonderful. The house is quite big and perfect for our stay in Barcelona. we couldn't have asked for a better place. we would definitely return!
What a great stay!!. Loved the apartment. Quirky and colorful just like the pictures. The bedrooms are dark and quiet and comfortable-great for rest after long days of sight seeing. Lots of hot water for showers. Small grocery across the street for snacks. Tku Reyes for the lovely bottle of Spanish Cava(?) champagne gift! Just a few blocks from Liceu train station at La Rambla to get everywhere. Walking distance to the beach. Great shopping in Born and La Ribera. Easy walk to/from aerobus for airport. Tourist info just 2 blocks away to make your bookings. No wi-fi in rear of apt -not a problem just and FYI. The walls are stone....so stay in front room to stay connected.
You go through the small bedroom to get to the other so if you're shy or wake easily - you should know that. It was perfect for us two travelling ladies Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!
The apartments are located in the very heart of Barri Gotic/Via Laietana area in the immediate proximity to all Barcelona's centre amenities. Cathedral Square is 5 min away, Placa de Catalunya - 10 min walking distance. The apartments design is unique, and they have all you need for your short trip to that beautiful city. Reyes, the owner is definitely the best hostess we've ever met, very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much Reyes, all the best to you and your family.Hope to meet you again in a while.
This quirky retro apartment is situated in a fantastic location however everything in the apartment is old and showing real signs of wear. I'm sure the photos were taken 20 years ago. Aside from everything being old the bedroom was situated at the end of the apartment which meant it was very quiet in the evening. However, the bed was a foam mattress and had a mattress protector on it which heated us up and made crinkly noises when you moved. It was also hot with no a/c. The bedding and towels etc had also seen better days. Pillows were terrible. If you are going to rent at least have decent pillows. We had booked and paid to stay in the apartment for a week, and we did not see or hear from the owner. When we arrived we were greeted by a delightful woman who was a friend of the owner. It was the worst accomodation booked in our 18 days in Spain. Would not recommend.
This is a fantastic, unique apartment right in the centre of the Gothic Quarter. There's everything you need, and the host was super helpful and friendly, and very accommodating. You can walk to loads of things from here, including the beach and Plaça de Catalunya, so you can get to anywhere in the city really easily. The apartment is ideal for a family of 3 (two adults and a child), and it was the perfect place to experience bustling Barcelona. The little shop in the courtyard seems to open all the time and has all the basics you need. There are plenty of other shops and amenities nearby. Although you are right in the middle of everything, the bedroom are right inside this old building with thick walls, so it's really quiet when you want to sleep. The tapas restaurant two door away is fantastic, and there is also a lovely bakery on the same street.
Had the most amazing stay thanks to Reyes the most wonderful host. Apartment was lovely and enjoyed the quirkiness. Great central location, yet quiet, allowing us the opportunity to enjoy all the amazing things Barcelona has to offer. Check out the Sensi restaurant on the doorstep offering the most mouthwatering tapas. Many Thanks again Reyes, would highly recommend to anyone for a stay in Barcelona
We had a very pleasant stay in Reyes apartment, she is an excellent host and the location is the best you could ask for, walking distance from the main attractions, the place itself is very confortable just the way it looks in the pictures.
